The name "Giulia" has often been associated with controversy throughout the world of professional wrestling over the years, and her transition to the United States proved to be no different. Rossy Ogawa — Giulia's mentor and former boss — has been removed as executive producer of World Wonder Ring Stardom at the behest of multimedia conglomerate Bushiroad amid accusations of attempted talent poaching and mismanagement, leaving Giulia in a rather awkward position.
Truthfully, Ogawa had cemented himself as a father figure in Giulia's life, and he had played an instrumental role in her rise to prominence in the Joshi Puroresu scene, leaving her in a state of conflict when he approached her one day with an unexpected proposition.
"I can help you get a foot in the door with WWE under one condition... take me with you."
Though the pair had formed a close friendship over the years, Giulia didn't fully trust the old man. After all, the accusations pointing his way weren't exactly unfounded. Giulia knew first-hand how calculated and conniving Ogawa could be where business was concerned, and she didn't believe that her best intentions were the driving motivator behind his proposal. Still, she did want to experience the magic of professional wrestling across the pond. Until now, all that was missing was the opportunity.
Giulia weighed up the pros and cons and, without even so much as looking in his direction, granted him an answer.

With a wicked grin forming at his lips, Ogawa picked up the phone.
