The Icon has been everywhere in his wrestling career, and he’s done just about everything. He’s played sold-out stadiums all around the world and wrestled for every single one of the largest of the American wrestling companies. Sting thought he’d wiped the paint off and tied his boots for the last time. But retirement didn’t suit the Stinger. A crow doesn’t sit still, they fly until they can’t fly anymore, until all the things in this life are done.
And there’s just a few things that Sting has left undone. He’s never had a championship run in the WWE. Hell, his two years in the company had amounted to four matches that, well…hadn’t gone his way. The Icon knows that his candle won’t burn forever, but that don’t matter to Sting. There’s space missing in the trophy case, and there’s a world of fans out there who never got to figure out exactly why he was the Franchise of WCW.
