ANGELO PARKER SUFFERS MAJOR KNEE INJURY Tuesday, August 27th, 2024 Last night's episode of WWE RAW had a bit of an unceremonious ending, when Angelo Parker of 2.0 sustained what appeared to be a serious knee injury. During a Tag Team Championship match against Steven Richards and CM Punk, Parker performed a routine "leap frog" maneuver and landed awkwardly. The match ended shortly thereafter, and ringside medical professionals were quick to render aid to Angelo Parker, before he was rushed to a local medical facility.
Unfortunately, we can now confirm that Angelo Parker suffered a complete tear of his anterior cruciate ligament (ACL), as well as a complete tear of his medial collateral ligament (MCL), and a partial tear of his meniscus. Parker will be scheduled to go under surgery to repair those ligaments in the coming weeks, but there is no timeline for an in-ring return.
The entire WWE Universe is wishing for a speedy recovery for Angelo Parker.
