Monday Night RAW
November 11, 2024
American Airlines Center
Dallas, Texas
As the opening video package ends, pyro explodes on the stage as the crowd in Dallas, Texas is erupting in cheers. The cameras pan through the crowd, showing off various signs reading things like “Janela for Champ!”, “nWo sucks!”, “Elegance Enterprises” and more. After doing a pan of the American Airlines Center, the cameras settle in on the commentary table where we see the team of Michael Cole and Wade Barrett.
MICHAEL COLE: Welcome to Monday Night RAW, folks! I’m Michael Cole and alongside me as usual is my broadcast partner, Wade Barrett! Tonight we have some action that promises to be pulse-pounding!
WADE BARRETT: That’s right, Cole, after losing the battle royal he is taking on our new number WWE Champion’s number one contender, Joey Janela! But that’s not all that we have planned for tonight,
”Superkick Party” hits the P.A. system and the crowd, who is already on their feet, turn their collective attention towards the entrance ramp as the nWo Elite appears in full force. Matt Jackson, Nick Jackson, John Cena, Adam Page, Eve Torres, Ember Moon and Dakota Kai all make their way through the curtain. After a few seconds of them standing at the top of the ramp, being showered in boos, Matt Menard creeps in behind them from the backstage area and they all start to make their way down to the ring.
MICHAEL COLE: Well, here they are Wade. We saw this group make their presence known at Saturday Night’s Main Event as they took out Kenny Omega.
WADE BARRETT: Not before Omega got a big V-Trigger in on Nick Jackson!
MICHAEL COLE: And I’ve heard rumors about what happened due to that V-Trigger but this group has a tendency to keep things tightly sealed.
WADE BARRETT: Nick Jackson appears to be in some pain here though.
It’s true. Nick Jackson has some kind of apparatus on his mouth around his jaw and looks to be in a bit of pain as he makes his way into the ring with the rest of the nWo Elite. The music fades down and Cena motions to Menard to go down to the timekeeper’s area and grab a microphone. Menard steps through the ropes, hops off the apron and rips the microphone out of Samantha Irvin’s hand and makes his way back to the ring with it. The music has faded fully and the crowd has filled the area with boos as Menard pulls the mic up to his face.
"DADDY MAGIC" MATT MENARD: You guys need to show some respect for - -
The microphone is ripped out of Menard’s hand by Cena, who just stares at Matt with an intense look. Menard puts his hands up defensively and lurks back behind the rest of the group who don’t even acknowledge him or what just happened.
JOHN CENA: We need to get some stuff straight before Survivor Series.
Cena turns and hands the microphone to Matt Jackson, who in a rare turn of events, doesn’t look like he wants to talk.
MATT JACKSON: Two nights ago on Saturday Night’s Main Event, Kenny Omega heinously attacked my brother like a coward.
MICHAEL COLE: Is he being for real?! Omega attacked Nick!
MATT JACKSON: Due to the attack from Omega, my brother Nick has suffered a broken jaw. A broken jaw that’s going to keep him out of action for the foreseeable future. That foreseeable future includes Survivor Series and the Team WWE versus Team nWo Elite match.
The crowd cheers at the words from an nWo Elite member’s mouth for the first time in maybe ever. Of course, the news of Nick Jackson being hurt pleases them.
MATT JACKSON: Thankfully, the WWE roster locker room isn’t coordinated enough to field a full four man team. So, while we are going to miss Nick Jackson in the Survivor Series match, he likely will not be needed. That being said, we are still being required to have a fourth member on our team.
The nWo Elite members in the ring all shift around move nervously, glancing at one another quickly at times and then turning their attention back to the hard cam.
MATT JACKSON: While it’s not really the most ideal decision we’d like to make, our hand is being forced. So, replacing Nick Jackson on nWo Elite’s team in the Survivor Series match will be…Matt Menard.
The crowd almost practically gasps as they turn their attention to him. Menard seems shocked by this news as well. His eyes widen and he looks around to see most of the nWo Elite members looking back at him.
MATT JACKSON: We’d like to remind everyone that Menard isn’t officially an nWo Elite member but more of a Junior nWo Elite in Training Member. That being said, Menard is going to come out here tonight in the main event and beat the number one contender for the WWE World Championship and show the world just what junior nWo Elite members can do!
Jackson looks disgusted in his own words as he hands the mic back to Cena.
JOHN CENA: Consider that V-Trigger from Kenny Omega to be the first, last and only blow that any member of the WWE roster is going to strike on nWo Elite. And believe me when I say that it was just a lucky blow. There will be repercussions from your actions, Kenny. We already beat you down once and we will do it again.
The crowd chants “Bullshit” loudly at everything Cena is saying. He doesn’t pay the fans any mind though as he changes course and continues.
JOHN CENA: Mankind, you’ve thrown your hat into the ring and solidified your retirement this Sunday night at Survivor Series. In 1998, you made it to the finals of the Deadly Game tournament and got screwed over by The Corporation. Now, in 2024, you fight for the very people that screwed you over and seem happy about it. You seem proud of it. Like some kind of whipping boy. This Sunday night, you’re stepping into the ring with greatness, Mankind. Do you know that? Do you think these fans are coming out Sunday night to watch you lead Team WWE to victory? Yeah, that’ll put butts into seats.
MICHAEL COLE: He’s so despicable. I hate him.
WADE BARRETT: Keep your emotions in check, Cole.
JOHN CENA: On Sunday night, Mankind, your goal is to survive and I’m going to be the first to tell you that you won’t. Your defeat will be the first of many more to come as we lay waste to this pathetic WWE roster.
Mankind’s theme song comes on and the crowd quickly turns their heads to see him running down the entrance ramp towards the ring. He doesn’t seem in the mood to talk and is making his way quickly towards the ring.
MICHAEL COLE: Oh Wade, I appreciate the effort Mankind is showing here but he is going right into the lion’s den here. He’s just one man.
WADE BARRETT: True but a deranged one at that.
MICHAEL COLE: I’m not sure deranged is going to be enough.
The women of nWo Elite roll out of the ring and Matt helps his brother Nick leave the ring as Mankind makes his way under the bottom rope and is immediately met with boots from Cena and Hangman as they go to work on him. Mankind can’t even get to his feet as he’s getting beat down. Now Menard and Matt Jackson join in as well.
Hangman grabs Mankind by the hair and pulls him up to his feet, pulling Mankind’s arms behind his back and holding them there with his arms. He’s holding him just to let the rest of nWo Elite take their shots at him. “Battle Cry” breaks out over the P.A. as Kenny Omega’s music causes the crowd to go nuts. As Omega’s music plays, Hangman instinctively lets go of Mankind’s arms and he breaks free, making a beeline right for Cena and driving his hand into Cena’s mouth with a Mandible Claw on him! Menard and Jackson work to pull Mankind off Cena as Hangman stands at the ropes, waiting for Omega to come down the ramp but Kenny comes in through the crowd, sneaking up behind Hangman and spinning him around, drilling him with a huge right fist to the face! The crowd is going bananas now as Omega bounces off the ropes and drives a V-Trigger into the side of Hangman’s head, knocking him through the ropes and onto the apron!
Jackson and Menard finally have Mankind free from Cena and are each holding an arm as Cena kicks Mankind in the stomach, doubling him over. Jackson releases his hold and drills Omega from behind, knocking him into the ropes where he bounces back and right into Matt’s clutches. Jackson lifts him up and over with a Northern Lights Suplex! The beatdown on the two commence now as Hangman slowly starts to get back to his feet. He’s yelling at Menard to pull Omega up to his feet so he can hit the Buckshot Lariat on him.
MICHAEL COLE: This is ridiculous, Wade! It’s two on four out here! What are Omega and Mankind supposed to do?
WADE BARRETT: This is just how it is, Cole. They’re doing the best they can do.
MICHAEL COLE: Someone needs to step up! Someone needs to come out here!
WADE BARRETT: The rest of the WWE locker room doesn’t seem interested in getting involved with this fight.
MICHAEL COLE: We need someone to come down here and help! We need some damn heroes! Just two men who will fight and stand up for this place! Come on! We need you!
The crowd absolutely loses their minds when the music hits! No one can hear themselves think! CM Punk and Stevie Richards appear at the top of the ramp, their WWE Tag Team Championships around their waists. They take off the titles and set them down, looking at one another and nodding as they both take off running towards the ring.
WADE BARRETT: WHAT IS HAPPENING, COLE?!
MICHAEL COLE: YOU CAN HARDLY HEAR YOURSELF THINK! THIS CROWD IS GOING ABSOLUTELY WILD! THE HEROES HAVE ARRIVED!
Punk and Stevie slide into the ring and Matt Menard is the first one to try and thwart them. He takes a Stevie Kick to the face, knocking him out of the ring fully. Stevie has his back turned as Hangman flips over the ropes, looking for the Buckshot Lariat but he’s stopped by a huge lariat from Kenny Omega! Hangman crumples to the mat and rolls under the bottom rope to the floor. Matt Jackson doesn’t even have time to react as Punk drives his foot right into Jackson’s midsection, doubling him over in pain. Punk hoists Jackson up and drives his face into Punk’s knee with a GTS! The crowd is absolutely losing it! Stevie goes after Cena, but John rolls out of the ring with the rest of the nWo Elite. CM Punk picks up the microphone that Cena left sitting in the ring. Stevie helps Mankind to his feet and Omega comes over, standing next to the other three men as well.
CM PUNK: You know something… Stevie and I have sat back and watched this go on for long enough. You see, over the last couple of months… we’ve stood on the sidelines worrying about Motor City Machine Guns and Meta-Four… and meanwhile the nWo Elite has been running wild all over the rest of the WWE. They’ve been doing everything within their power to tear down and destroy the WWE and all that it stands for. Well, Stevie and I are here now and I am happy to tell the WWE Universe that the nWo Elite’s reign of terror ENDS AT SURVIVOR SERIES! No longer will we sit silent and let this happen on our watch! NO! You see, tonight… Stevie and I came out here not just as The Best Tag Team in the World… not just as the WWE World Tag Team Champions… we came out here tonight to announce that after talking to Stephanie McMahon… we are the final two members of Team WWE! And at Survivor Series… it’s going to be Mankind, Kenny Omega, Stevie Richards, and myself, CM Punk, fighting side by side. So, Cena, Jacksons, Menard, Hangman and the rest of the nWo Elite… I hope you’re ready, because this match isn’t just about winning. It’s about defending the legacy and protecting the soul of the WWE… and we are bringing everything we have to that ring with us!
Punk drops the microphone as the crowd erupts with applause and various uncoordinated chants for the members of Team WWE.
MICHAEL COLE: Let’s get Monday Night RAW started with a bang with this next match up, Wade!
WADE BARRETT: A bit of a grudge match between these two as Tommy End and The Glorious B’s have crossed paths a few times already.
MICHAEL COLE: I would say Bo Dallas is the least of Tommy End’s worries but he’s the one who finds himself in this match here tonight.
”Glorious” starts to play and Bo Dallas appears at the top of the ramp. He gives the fans a thumbs up and it’s not all entirely boos for Bo. There are a few cheers scattered in there as well.
SAMANTHA IRVIN: Our first contest is set for one fall. Introducing first, representing The Glorious B’s, Booo Daaalllaaas!
MICHAEL COLE: Well, conspicuous by their absence out here are the rest of The Glorious B’s.
WADE BARRETT: Perhaps this is a teaching moment for young Bo. A chance to prove himself on his own.
The song fades out and “The Devil Made Me Do It” starts to play. The arena goes dark and Tommy End appears at the top of the ramp. The crowd cheers as he starts making his way towards the ring.
SAMANTHA IRVIN: And his opponent, making his way to the ring, Tommyyy Ennnd!
MICHAEL COLE: Tommy End had a great showing in the battle royal last week and looked like he might win that match.
WADE BARRETT: The numbers game was too strong for him though. Just couldn’t overcome the odds.
End slides into the ring and stands across from Bo. Dallas seems a little nervous about this match while End seems focused. Bo is pacing back and forth as End removes his entrance gear.
SINGLES MATCH
Tommy End has had his hands full with The Glorious B’s the last few weeks. It was only a matter of time before these two forces met one another, given their history. The B’s claim to follow a path of the light and guidance from the Lord above. Tommy End seems to live a life full of darkness and has seemingly turned away from any potential light in his life. It was just a matter of who would seek the other out first. Roode made his intentions for the group clear though, and last week that was on full display as the B’s sole intent appeared to be eliminating End from the battle royal. The B’s would go on to eliminate everyone and win the battle royal. Shortly after the conclusion of the match, though, management would decree End versus Bo Dallas tonight on RAW. Bo hasn’t seen a lot of action since joining the B’s, so this will be the first real test for him. He appears to not have the aid of the rest of the B’s out here tonight. The referee checks both men for any kind of foreign object, and once they’re both cleared, they give the nod to say they’re ready. The referee calls for the bell, and this one is officially underway!
MICHAEL COLE: Look at the fire and focus in Tommy End’s eyes. He is ready for this one.
WADE BARRETT: I think Bo Dallas may bear the brunt of End’s frustrations with Corbin and Roode.
MICHAEL COLE: You are the company you keep!
WADE BARRETT: What does that say about me, then!?
The two come and meet in the middle of the ring, but whereas Bo is a little more hesitant to get this one underway, End has no problem. He brings his right arm up and drives it into Bo’s head, knocking him back. The impact shocks and stuns Bo a bit as he’s staggered on his feet. Tommy takes him and whips him into the ropes. Bo comes bouncing off of them and is met by a spinning back kick to the face and chest area, taking both men down. End is up first, pulling Bo up to his feet. Bo’s mouth is agape as he’s in a bit of pain. Tommy pulls Bo towards him, clasping his arms around him and hoisting him up and over with an EXPLODER SUPLEX! Bo lands in a heap, and Tommy goes for the pin. 1…2..No! Bo Dallas gets a shoulder up!
MICHAEL COLE: This has been all Tommy End so far.
WADE BARRETT: Firmly in control. Not much Bo can do.
Tommy is back up and pulling Bo up to his feet again. He whips Dallas into the ropes, and Bo reverses it this time. Now it’s End that hits the ropes, and Bo is right there to meet him with a clothesline across the chest! Tommy is taken up and over the top rope and lands on the apron. Bo takes a few steps back and goes to do a running spear on End, but Tommy moves and drives his knee into Bo’s diving head. Bo collapses in a heap on the apron, and End kicks him off onto the floor below. Dallas is slow to get to his feet, but End measures him up as he does. As Bo finally gets to a vertical base, Tommy takes off, rushing towards him and taking off from the apron, driving his knees onto Bo’s shoulders and taking him down with a METEORA on the outside! Bo is out of it! Tommy picks Bo up and rolls him into the ring. The referee’s count only gets to four before both men are back in again. Tommy picks Bo up and stands him on his feet. To say Bo is out on his feet would be an understatement. Tommy leans in close to Bo and appears to say the words “I’m sorry” to him as he takes a step back, brings his leg up and BLACK MASS spins a kick to Bo’s face! Dallas lands in a heap, and End makes the cover. 1…2…3! It’s over!
WINNER
TOMMY END
5:05 via PINFALL
SAMANTHA IRVIN: Here is your winner, TOMMYYY ENNND!
MICHAEL COLE: Dominant, dominant win for Tommy End.
WADE BARRETT: Bo Dallas never even had a shot!
End grabs Bo’s limp hand and pulls him towards the middle of the ring, leaving him lying there as he rolls out of the ring and starts heading up the ramp.
The lights within the sold-out arena begin to dim before an ominous fog materializes about the stage. Within moments the haunting melody of "Time of Arrival" by def rebel begins echoing throughout the venue.
With Rossy Ogawa tailing behind, The Beautiful Madness, Giulia, emerges at the head of the ramp with the Women's Intercontinental Championship hugging her waist. She pauses briefly, casting a suspicious gaze across the masses before she continues towards the ring.
MICHAEL COLE: And here comes somebody whose talent is matched only by her ego. Giulia has had an interesting few weeks lately after finding herself on the receiving end of multiple assaults at the hands of a mystery attacker.
WADE BARRETT: That's right, Cole. We know virtually nothing regarding the attacker’s identity thanks to the use of a mask to conceal this individual's person, but what we do know is that Giulia is their #1 target, and they're certainly pulling out all the stops to make sure she knows it!
MICHAEL COLE: Giulia is yet to be beaten since making her WWE debut back in August, and her ascent to capture the Women's Intercontinental Championship was a quick one. Whoever the mystery assailant is, I'm sure jealousy is a big motivator.
The Beautiful Madness wastes little time in climbing the apron, dipping through the ropes and into the ring before Rossy Ogawa fetches her a microphone.
GIULIA: Let's cut straight to the chase here, shall we? For two weeks in a row, an unnamed attacker has taken it upon themselves to make a name at my expense. But instead of standing toe-to-toe with me like a real woman, they much prefer to take the cowardly route, springing from the shadows and attacking me from behind when I least expect it. If it's my attention you wanted, then congratulations. Now you have it. But see, I'm not the sort of woman who handles business through sneak attacks and petty games. You want to stake your claim for this title? You want to try and make an example out of the biggest sensation to hit WWE's women's division in years? Fine. I know the risks that come with being the best around here. But at least have the brass to stand under these lights and challenge me face-to-face. As a matter of fact, I invite you to come out here and show some courage in your conviction. Stand up and show the world that you have what it takes to face me. But let me warn you: challenging The Beautiful Madness isn't just a match. It's a reckoning you won't survive.
The WWE Universe turns their attention towards the stage as they anticipate a response, but after a brief moment of silent passes, it soon becomes obvious that nobody is stepping forward. The American Airlines Center quickly fills with whispers and scattered boos as Giulia's challenge hangs unanswered.
GIULIA: Fine. If that's how you want to do this, then I suppose I'll have to drag you out here kicking and screaming, huh? Now, if I were a fraudulent little bitch with no backbone, where would I be hiding? Perhaps over by the commentary table?
The Beautiful Madness turns her attention towards the commentary table where Michael Cole and Wade Barrett reside.
MICHAEL COLE: Hey, don't look at us! We have nothing to do with this!
GIULIA: You guys always seem to have something to say. How quickly you two seem to shut down when somebody calls you out. I suppose they would stick out like a sore thumb though. Perhaps we should be looking towards the audience instead. I mean, I'm sure somebody without integrity would fit right in with this crowd.
The southern crowd soon turn their vitriol towards Giulia as Rossy Ogawa attempts to pull Giulia away.
ROSSY OGAWA: Obviously the person responsible isn't out here. Let's go back and think this through.
The Beautiful Madness snatches her arm from Ogawa's grasp - - her eyes full of scorn.
GIULIA: Not so fast, old man. You wouldn't have anything to do with these attacks, would you? I mean, you always seem to be missing when somebody decides to get the jump on me, and I certainly wouldn't put it past you to send someone to try and take me out.
Giulia slowly inches towards Ogawa, backing him up against the nearest turnbuckle.
GIULIA: Let's be honest, I'm just a means to an end, aren't I old man? And you and I both know that-
Before another word could slip past Giulia's venomous tongue, a familiar entrance theme interrupts the pair as the WWE Universe rise to their feet.
"Somewhere in A Dream" glides into the arena as "Timeless" Toni Storm saunters out onto the stage with a microphone in hand - - the footage turning an unusual black & white as the camera focuses on her.
TONI STORM: Darling, Goolia, may I just call you Goo Goo for short? You see, Goo Goo, these attacks aren’t personal. Rossy, he doesn’t know a damn thing about them. As a matter of fact, you would have to be a genius in order to have figured this out. No surprise that you aren’t exactly there yet, are you? Intelligence isn’t quite where your strengths lie, is it?
Giulia scoffs under her breath, pacing back and forth about the ring as she draws the microphone to her lips once more.
GIULIA: I should've known. Who else but "Talentless" Toni Storm would be so desperate as to attack a woman when her back is turned? What's the matter, Toni? Still feeling a little raw after losing to me all those months ago? Putting your hands on me was a costly mistake, and I'll make sure you pay the price tenfold.
TONI STORM: Oh darling, you think I was the one who attacked you? I appreciate you're still rather new here, so allow me to let you in on a little secret: the leading lady never gets her hands dirty. That's what the extras are for!
Before Giulia could make sense of Toni's riddles, the masked woman from weeks previous tackles Giulia to the canvas before unleashing an unbridled assault on the Women's Intercontinental Champion. Rossy Ogawa quickly vacates the ring as the masked assailant targets Giulia with a series of nasty stomps and strikes, only relenting briefly to reveal her identity to the shocked crowd. In one swift motion, the mysterious woman rips off her mask as her blonde tresses fall gracefully down her back, revealing herself to be none other than MARIAH MAY?!
MICHAEL COLE: Wait a minute... Mariah May?! She was the masked attacker this whole time!
WADE BARRETT: Don't sound so surprised, I knew it all along!
MICHAEL COLE: Oh really? And you waited until after the reveal to say anything?
WADE BARRETT: I'm never one to spoil a good mystery, Cole.
The ruthless beatdown on Giulia continues as Toni Storm makes her way towards the ring, taking off a single shoe on her approach. As Toni climbs into the ring, Mariah drags Giulia back to a vertical base, restraining the Women's Intercontinental Champion with her arms pinned behind her back. Giulia struggles against Mariah's clutches to no avail, all while Toni sizes her up with sickening intent. Quickly Toni charges The Beautiful Madness, striking her just above the eye with the heel of her shoe, sending the latter crashing to the canvas below in a bloodied mess.
MICHAEL COLE: What a sickening assault on the Women's Intercontinental Champion! As arrogant as Giulia can be, this is too far!
With blood pouring from Giulia's head, Toni retrieves the fallen Women's Intercontinental Championship and raises the title high into the air with Mariah May standing proudly at her side. The pair are hit with boos from all angles of the arena before Toni drops the title over Giulia's motionless body, sneering at the crowd in twisted content.
WADE BARRETT: Toni Storm has made her declaration tonight. She has her eyes on the prize, and tonight has proven she'll do anything it takes to claim it.
Both Toni and Mariah vacate the ring, mocking Giulia with each step and they retreat back up the ramp. WWE medics quickly sprint past the pair and slide into the ring to tend to the injured champion as the cameras focus on the commentary team.
MICHAEL COLE: I’m in absolute shock at what we’ve witnessed here, Toni Storm has become absolutely deranged in her pursuit of the Women’s intercontinental Championship! I have a feeling this isn’t going to end very well for the Timeless One, but for now we need to move on to even more women’s division action, as Tiara James takes on the newcomer Thea Hail!
WADE BARRETT: Tiara James has been on a major roll since her debut, being under the wing of Ash by Elegance surely has something to do with that. I can’t wait to see if she’s able to pull out the win here again!
As the medics help Giulia out of the ring and up the ramp, ”Raised in Hell” by Charlie Kaye begins to play on the speakers and the crowd bursts into cheers as Thea Hail appears at the top of the arena stairs by some lucky fans. Soaking in their cheers, Thea gives a big smile and a wave before excitedly bounding down the stairs. As she gets to the ground floor of the arena, she walks over to the barrier and climbs up onto it and stands up, looking around triumphantly at the cheering fans.
SAMANTHA IRVIN: The following contest is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, making her way to the ring, Theaaa Haaaiiil!
MICHAEL COLE: What an entrance here tonight by Thea Hail!
WADE BARRETT: Flashy entrances are great and all, but they don’t mean anything if you can’t back it up with some in-ring ability! Tonight is going to be quite a test for Thea Hail!
Hopping down to the floor on the ringside area, Thea walks around the side of the ring and goes to the steel steps, walking up to the apron. Entering the ring, Thea walks to the center and raises her arms in the air, smiling wide as the fans continue to cheer her on before turning her attention to the entrance area. As her music fades out, the music of Tiara James begins to play which causes the crowd to now break out into a loud round of boos. Tiara James comes sashaying out, smiling and waving to the crowd as she doesn’t seem to realize that they cannot stand her in the slightest. Walking down to the ring, Tiara hops up onto the apron and strikes a pose for the fans, smiling for them despite the boos.
SAMANTHA IRVIN: And her opponent, representing Elegance Enterprises, Tiiiaraaa Jaaames!
MICHAEL COLE: Tiara James doesn’t seem to realize just how disliked she is by the WWE Universe!
WADE BARRETT: I don’t think she cares, Cole! And why should she? She’s undefeated and she’s living the high life with Ash by Elegance! The opinions of these people shouldn’t matter to her in the slightest!
Getting into the ring, Tiara strikes another pose, the smile not leaving her face until she turns her attention to Thea Hail and then her nose wrinkles in disgust. As her music fades out, Tiara flips her hair and rolls her eyes as Thea swings her arms back and forth to warm up.
SINGLES MATCH
The bell rings and Thea, eager to make an impact, rushes in and nails Tiara with a dropkick right out of the gate! Tiara falls down onto the mat in a seated position, her mouth open and her eyes wide with shock. Thea hits the ropes and when she comes back she goes for another dropkick, but Tiara rolls out of the way and now it’s Thea who crashes into the mat! Thea clutches at her back and Tiara quickly goes for the cover and hooks the leg, 1…kick out by Thea Hail!
MICHAEL COLE: What was Tiara thinking going for the pin so early?
WADE BARRETT: Hey, you have to shoot your shot when you can, Cole!
Tiara looks absolutely befuddled that she didn’t get the win with that, and she complains to the referee about the count being slow. She grabs Thea by the hair and pulls her up to her feet but before she can do anything, Thea nails her with a forearm shot to the fact that sends the Elegance Enterprise member staggering back in shock! Tiara clutches at her face and Thea charges forward again and nails her with another forearm shot to the face!Thea grabs Tiara by the wrist and whips her into the ropes and when Tiara comes back, Thea uses the momentum to lift her in the air and over her head, sending James crashing into the back with a back body drop! Tiara cries out in pain as she clutches at her back, meanwhile Thea goes for a standing moonsault but Tiara brings her knees up, causing Thea to hit the knees with her midsection!
MICHAEL COLE: Rough landing there for Thea Hail!
WADE BARRETT: That was definitely a rookie mistake there, Cole!
Thea grabs at her midsection as she winces in pain, and Tiara immediately pushes Thea on her back and goes for the pin once again, 1…2…kick out by Thea! Tiara is frustrated and screams at the referee to count faster, but the referee tells her that the counting speed was just fine and it was only a two count. Rolling her eyes, Tiara gets to her feet and bends down to pick up Thea but out of nowhere, Thea rolls Tiara up with a small package pin! 1…2…Tiara kicks out! Tiara is sitting upright now, her eyes wide in shock once again as she can’t believe Thea almost got one over on her. Both women get to their feet and Thea rushes in looking to hit a clothesline but Tiara ducks the attempt and quickly turns around and grabs Thea around the waist. Tiara pushes Thea towards the ropes but Thea uses her momentum to push back and she rolls Tiara up for the pin! 1…2…Tiara reverses the roll up and now has Thea pinned instead! 1….2…Tiara has a hold of the tights!...3! Tiara James wins another one!
WINNER
TIARA JAMES
03:59 via PINFALL
SAMANTHA IRVIN: Here is your winner, TIIIARAAA JAAAMES!
MICHAEL COLE: Tiara James stole this one! She had a hold of Thea’s tights!
WADE BARRETT: You gotta do what you gotta do to win, Cole! If the referee doesn’t see it, then it’s legal!
As her music begins to play again, Tiara James quickly scrambles to the ropes and slides under the bottom rope to the arena floor, laughing at Thea Hail who is now sitting up and looking completely shocked at what just transpired. Raising her arms up triumphantly, Tiara walks backwards up the ramp, laughing as she watches Thea try to explain to the referee what happened. As the official tells Thea they didn’t see the dirty tactic from Tiara, Thea turns her attention to Tiara and gives her an angry look, shouting that she’ll make sure Tiara pays for her cheating ways.
We cut to the backstage area where Byron Saxton is standing with a microphone in hand and waiting for his cue.
BYRON SAXTON: Ladies and gentlemen, my guests at this time…members of The Glorious B’s, Baron Corbin and Pastor Bobby Roode.
The crowd in the arena boos loudly as Corbin comes into frame from one side of the scene and Roode in from the other. They flank Saxton as he starts to conduct the interview.
BYRON SAXTON: Last week on RAW, we saw Baron Corbin win the battle royal to become the number one contender for that Intercontinental Title. When is Corbin going to take his shot?
As he puts the microphone over near Corbin, Roode grabs it and pulls it towards him, much to Corbin’s chagrin.
BOBBY ROODE: Byron, while that’s a question we will you give you an answer to in due time, we need to talk about what happened out here earlier tonight.
BYRON SAXTON: Oh, the Bo Dallas and Tommy End match? It did seem a little surprising that there was no kind of help or interference from the B’s in that match.
Roode glares at Byron for the stupid (in his opinion) comment.
BOBBY ROODE: We are men of integrity, Byron.
BYRON SAXTON: B…but you helped Corbin win the battle royal last week after you had already been eliminated. That doesn’t seem like a move of integrity.
Roode lets out a prolonged and annoyed sigh.
BOBBY ROODE: Earlier tonight, Tommy End beat Bo Dallas in a one on one match. End left Bo lying in the middle of the ring, as if trying to send some kind of a message to the rest of us. Well, congratulations, Tommy. You beat a man who is working towards following the light. A man who still finds himself in the dark recesses of his mind more than he’d like. In short, you beat a man whose faith continues to waver. When the time comes - and trust me, the time is coming - when you find yourself in that ring with Pastor Bobby Roode, you will find out just how strong the light’s guidance can be. You will find out that when you have the power of the lord behind you, nothing can stop you.
Roode turns and leaves the interview area as Corbin shakes his head lightly. Saxton turns his attention back to Baron.
BYRON SAXTON: Right, so uh…about that title shot?
BARON CORBIN: Ricky Starks! You are a man that continues to fall ass backwards into all of your success. You beat a man for that championship you hold whose foot was on the ropes during the pinfall. Yet, instead of having to defend it against him again, you find yourself without a challenger. Well, wait no more, Ricky. Because this time, you’re falling ass backwards into the beating of your life.
BYRON SAXTON: Still though, when are you going to take your title shot?
BARON CORBIN: It would make sense to do the match at Survivor Series. Yet…I have to keep in mind the words of our good lord up above. Remember the sabbath day and keep it holy…or something like that. The Glorious B’s don’t work on Sundays, Ricky. So in two weeks time, Monday Night RAW. Ricky Starks will lose his championship to Baron Corbin and I’ll bring gold to the Glorious B’s for the first time.
BYRON SAXTON: Two weeks on Monday Night RAW!
BARON CORBIN: That’s right. While Pastor Bobby wastes his time fooling around with that false prophet, Tommy End, I will show the world just what this group and Baron Corbin is capable of doing. See you in two weeks, Starks!
Corbin leaves the interview area as Byron throws it back to the arena.
MICHAEL COLE: Two weeks from now, we’ll have a huge Intercontinental Championship match!
WADE BARRETT: Should be a good one. Starks and Corbin. Both of those guys could be fighting for world titles down the road!
MICHAEL COLE: Roode seems to have his mind set on Tommy End though.
WADE BARRETT: End sent a message and apparently that message was received loud and clear by Roode and the B’s tonight.
b]MICHAEL COLE:[/b] Much like the Glorious B’s, Adam Cole has been on a quest to make his way to gold for quite some time!
WADE BARRETT: Tonight he has a chance to cement himself as a true threat to any champion when he takes on a WWE legend, The Rock!
MICHAEL COLE: And he better be prepared because he’s coming out here now!
”Undisputed” by CFO$ hits and Adam Cole makes his way out onto the stage with a swagger to his step as he grins at the crowd. The crowd, however, isn’t as pleased to see him and they boo him relentlessly. Cole shakes his head like a disappointed father at his children after they’ve done something wrong as he stands at the top of the stage not appreciating the crowd’s response.
SAMANTHA IRVIN: The following contest is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, making his way to the ring, he claims to be The Star of the Show, Adaaam Cooole!
MICHAEL COLE: There he is, and it’s been a bit of time since we’ve seen him, Wade!
WADE BARRETT: After everything Cole has been through with Mankind he probably needed the break to fight some of those nagging injuries that build up on professional wrestlers who are on the road every week!
Cole rips apart a fans sign after he pulls it away from them, the sign read “The Rock is back!” He mocks them with a wiping away of fake tears as they seem to be genuinely upset with his actions. But he doesn’t have long to mock them as “Electrifying” by Jim Johnston hit and Rock comes storming down the ramp to start beating the hell out of him with slaps that knocks him back towards the ring!.
SAMANTHA IRVIN: And his opponent, making his way to the ring, The Most Elecrtifying Man in sports and entertainment, The Rooock!
MICHAEL COLE: The Rock clearly isn’t going to let actions like that fly under his watch!
WADE BARRETT: He’s slapping the taste out of Cole’s mouth, Cole!
The Rock grabs a dazed Cole by the back of the neck and tosses him under the ropes and into the ring. Cole scrambles to get to his feet as Rock slides in and comes after him and the bell rings!
SINGLES MATCH
Adam Cole uses his speed to get some room and keep away from The Rock, frustrating the larger man. Cole is clearly toying with Rock but that isn’t the case for much longer. The tone quickly changes when Rock gets hold of Adam Cole and starts tossing him around like a rag doll. Rock isn’t playing with Cole and looks to go for the kill with a Rock Bottom, but Cole stays alive in the match as he hits a few key elbows to the side of Rock’s head that bat him away in a slight daze. It isn’t long however before he recovers and sends Cole to the outside with a CLOTHESLINE over the top rope to the ring floor on the outside! Rock grabs Cole and looks for a powerbomb onto the ring apron! But as Cole sits on his shoulders he desperately starts laying into Rock with several punches!
MICHAEL COLE: Cole is fighting back, Wade! He’s desperate to escape this attempt to break his back on the ring apron!
WADE BARRETT: Adam isn’t being taken down that easy!
The punches stop Rock from being able to powerbomb him before he transitions it into a tornado DDT onto the ring floor on Rock! Cole would take a moment to recover before he picks up the downed Rock as he rolls him into the ring. He quickly follows up and makes a cover, 1…2, Rock kicks out! As Rock tries to get to his feet Adam Cole catches the rising Rock with THE BOOM but Rock rolls him up for a quick cover 1…2, Cole kicks out!
MICHAEL COLE: Cole almost lost there!
WADE BARRETT: He needs to be quicker if he wants to keep Rock off his game!
As soon as Cole gets to his feet he nails rock with a SUPERKICK that stuns him! Cole takes a moment to think before making his way to the top rope. Cole steadies himself for a moment looking to go high risk! As Cole jumps he’s caught by The Rock catches him as he flies through the air! Rock holds Cole in place for a few seconds before he slams him down with a thrust spinebuster! The Rock has a look of pure rage on his face at the audacity of Cole to tease him from the beginning of this match. Rock wipes some sweat off his brow, as Cole slowly gets to his feet before Rock poised behind him waits for him to turn and connects with ROCK BOTTOM!! Rock hook the legs of Cole, 1…2…3! The Rock picks up the win!
WINNER
THE ROCK
06:32 via PINFALL
SAMANTHA IRVIN: Here is your winner, THE ROOOCK!
MICHAEL COLE: A successful return for The Rock with a big win here! Adam Cole just wasn’t prepared for this on his first night back, but it appears all Rock has been doing is preparing!
WADE BARRETT: Cole might’ve been off his game, but this will certainly wake him up! The Undisputed Era hasn’t taken anything lying down!
Cole curses his luck in the ring as The Rock reaches out an arm to help him to his feet. Cole looks at it for a moment before he spits into Rock’s face and immediately rolls out of the ring. The Rock wipes the spit from his face as he watches Cole for a moment before he rolls out of the ring after him and the two hightail it to the back one after another as the cameras fade out to commercial.
Tune in this Sunday to see what happens when Team WWE clashes with Team nWo!
