During the first round of the WWE Championship tournament in this new era of WWE, it was full of surprises and showed the fighting spirit the superstars have to claim the top spot on the roster. The four men left in the second round are in a position to make history as they continue their journey to be crowned the first WWE Champion of this new era at our first Premium Live Event, Night of Champions. The results left the brackets as follows:
Swerve Strickland, Cody Rhodes, Gable Steveson and Juice Robinson still have a long road ahead and should keep on their toes. We've seen many superstars outside of the tournament looking to make their own influence on who becomes the first WWE Champion. I wish all of them the best of luck in the coming weeks.
