Dr. Britt Baker DMD

Wrestling never was Britt Baker’s first choice. She dabbled with it as part of her high school’s wrestling team, but only truly committed to training as part of an ongoing relationship with her ex, who dreamed of joining the big leagues. Britt never had those lofty dreams, however; while training was fun, and an excellent way to stay in shape, for her it was never more than spending time with her boyfriend, while the University of Pennsylvania held her full attention.

An Honors graduate from UPenn’s School of Medicine, Britt thought she was on her way to a fast-paced, successful life. She found a good job as a dental assistant (and later, full-fledged dentist) at Dr. Harvey Miller’s private practice, and continued her training, even wrestling small indie matches here and there.

Everything changed when her boyfriend ghosted her. A simple note was left on her kitchen table one morning, along with the deed to their home – signed over solely to her, and she was left all alone. She knew she could recover, though; she was always a tough cookie. But life would deliver a second blow when police raided Dr. Miller’s dental offices, and the allegedly good doctor found himself in cuffs for embezzling money from the business. The dental office shuttered, and the scandal that started with Miller’s arrest clung to everyone who used to work for him.

Struggling to find work, Baker took the avenue she never thought she’d take in life, and signed with an indie company in Pittsburgh. A few months later, the call came that would change her life.
