The Sunday Night Heat intro plays and the fans inside the arena begin to cheer loudly, as the lights begin to flicker and spotlights cut through the crowd. As the shows intro ends, the camera pans around the arena and catches a few shots of rowdy fans who are cheering loudly. We cut to the commentary booth, where Beth Phoenix and Mauro Ranallo are ready to announce for the evening. MAURO RANALLO: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Sunday Night Heat. I'm Mauro Ranallo joined as always by Beth Phoenix. And Beth, with this being the last Heat before Unforgiven, you have to imagine tonight is going to be hotter than ever! BETH PHOENIX: I think you're right about that, Mauro, the action has really been heating up lately and I think we're about to see things hit a fever pitch! MAURO RANALLO: Absolutely! With the way tensions have built between not only Serena Deeb and Dakota Kai, but also Sami Zayn and Christian Cage, I can't help but wonder if we'll see any explosions between these pairs ahead of their respective championship showdowns! BETH PHOENIX: And how about Swerve Strickland and Diesel? Big Daddy Cool just earned another shot at Strickland's WWE Championship last Monday, and I can't imagine the champion is too happy about that! MAURO RANALLO: You're right about that. There's so many combustible elements in the air right now, it's anyone's guess as to what will explode first! Let's not waste any more time wondering and let's find out what's going to happen, it's time to get ready for our first match of the night! The camera cuts away, as the fans and the rest of the WWE Universe await the first match of Sunday Night Heat.

Post by Bron Breakker on May 15, 2024 14:39:05 GMT -5
The lights in the arena dim, before a pair of red and white spotlights start circling over the crowd. “Fear No Evil” by Def Rebel plays through the speakers, drawing a ripple from the crowd. As the sirens die down, Bron Breakker appears from backstage, and the crowd cheers his appearance. BETH PHOENIX: Bron Breakker is here! MAURO RANALLO: There were a lot of rumors about, with the dawn of the new era in the WWE, whether or not Bron Breakker would stick around. It looks like he and Triple H came to an agreement! BETH PHOENIX: And he’s looking like a wolf tonight, Mauro. He’s not showboating or playing to the crowd, he looks laser-focused on his opponent! It’s true, Bron’s eyes are focused solely on his opponent as he walks down the ramp and up the stairs. His eyes harden for a moment on his opponent before he steps through the ring ropes. BRON BREAKKER VS. FUEGO DEL SOL SINGLES MATCH Bron Breakker stands in the corner and grabs the ring ropes, stretching and getting himself limber for the match. Despite only being a couple of inches shorter, Fuego del Sol looks miniscule in comparison to the two-hundred thirty pound Georgia native. The bell rings, and the two men approach each other in the middle of the ring. MAURO RANALLO: Is Bron offering a lock-up with Fuego?! BETH PHOENIX: He is. But is Fuego dumb enough to accept? Fuego looks hesitant for a moment, but any wrestler would be hard-pressed to reject the opportunity. He reaches out tentatively and locks his fingers with Breakker’s. He tries to push his weight against Bron’s, and immediately tumbles to the canvas with a shove from Bron! The movement carries Fuego del Sol back and into the corner. He’s stunned for a moment, and can’t do anything to escape as Breakker grabs him and hefts him into standing position. Breakker looks out to the audience as he raises a flat hand… knife-edge chop! Even over the noise of the crowd, the sound is like a gunshot going off in a quiet room. Fuego writhes in pain and clutches his chest, but Breakker manhandles him back into position for another! And another! The luchador’s chest is tomato-red as he stumbles out of the corner after the third! Fuego looks like he’s barely on his feet; the official stops to check on him, and gives a nod to continue the match. The luchador has just enough to turn around… SPEAR! The masked man looks out cold as Bron grabs his arms and crosses them over his chest. He holds them down for the pin! 1…2…3! WINNER BRON BREAKKER PINFALL | 0:58 MIKE ROME: Your winner… Brooooon BREAAAAK-ker!Bron stands in the middle of the ring, having not even broken a sweat, letting the official raise his arm up in victory! The moment it falls, heturns a MAURO RANALLO: A dominant performance from Breakker to start off this week’s episode of Heat! BETH PHOENIX: Fuego del Sol’s going to be feeling those chops until next week’s episode! MAURO RANALLO: I’d be willing to bet he’s going to be a lot more sore than that, Beth. It looks like we’ve got Megan Morant on the stage to get some comments from our winner – Ranallo breaks off, and the camera shows Morant standing with a microphone in hand, smiling as she watches Breakker walk up the ramp. He doesn’t stop to speak to her, though; instead he angles his body so it misses her and bypasses her completely, leaving her alone and a little surprised.

The screen opens up with a small video package, highlighting all of the matches for tonight's event. As the video package ends, we are taken backstage where there is already an interview set prepared. Welcoming us to the show is none other than heat resident interviewer, Megan Morant. With a microphone in her hand, Megan Morant would waste no time in kicking off this exclusive. Megan Morant: Ladies and gentlemen of the WWE Universe, welcome to Heatr! I am your host for the show, Megan Morant. At this time, I have an exclusive interview with one of the competitors in one of the Backlash main events. Joining me right now is Christian Cage. The camera shifts over to the left where we see none other than Christian Cage standing beside Megan Morant. Already prepared for tonight's match, Christian Cage is dressed in his ring attire consisting of black wrestling trunks with the turtle neck he has been wearing, like a proud father. After Megan Morant's introduction, Christian Cage would turn to the camera and give a slight smirk before directing his attention back towards Megan Morant as the interviewer prepares to ask her first question. Megan Morant: Thanks for being a part of the show, Christian Cage. To start this interview, I got to ask you this first. What do you think you have to do in order to defeat Sami Zayn, who has been nothing other than impressive since arriving here. Christian Cage would stand in silence upon being asked the question. He had already known that the question was going to be brought up, but it's never easy admitting to the threat of Sami Zayn. Megan Morant would tilt the microphone in Christian Cage direction, waiting for a reply. Christian Cage closes his eyes for a second in order to collect the proper response before he answers the question in an almost aggressive manner. Christian Cage: Megan Morant, that is the question you ask me, that is what you ask Christian Cage when you are given the chance to interview me. You are a waste of space just like everyone else in this company, get out of my sight before I hurt you, you ignorant little insect. Christian Cage grabs the microphone out of Megan Morant hand and then pushes her out of the way; Christian Cage then takes over the segment on his own as he looks down into the camera. Christian Cage: Nobody here understands what it feels like to be Christian Cage. To work yourself to the very bone only to lose everything you've worked for in a matter of moments. I am not happy with what happened months ago and I will never be happy, but what is done is done, Christian Cage is still standing at the end of the day and is still ready to fight. That match with Sami Zayn may have been one of the biggest matches of my career. It was my chance to show the world that I am still a top contender. It was my opportunity to show that I'm the guy that should lead this company. I'd argue the fact that I did indeed get screwed but what is done is done. Yet even in defeat Christian Cage remains tall. I have a chance to prove myself all over again and this time I will not make any mistakes. I had the chance all those months ago to take the title, and I failed and all of this time, how it has eaten away at my very soul. The father smirks a little bit more. Christian Cage was confident that he could gain an important victory tonight. To send a message to the champion, that was all that it was truly even about at the end. Christian Cage: I don’t fancy Sami Zayn changes against me at Backlash. Right now, I am in the best shape of my career. Right now, I am the best that I can be, don’t believe me just look at my last match last week. On more than one occasion, I have gone above and beyond to prove myself the very best that there is here and that no one at all can hold so much as a candle against me, that I am the future of this company and everything in time as you will see, will revolve around me and only me, there is nothing that. If you know me, you know that I hate losing more than anything and believe me... I won't lose again! The past is the past, it will die there, I failed to take the title when I had the chance, but with Backlash coming closer, it is time to step up even more and prove myself. Tonight I step into the ring with a talented young wrestler, everyone has written me off already. Everyone believes that I will be defeated once again and all my work will end. Well everyone is about to be proved wrong. Christian Cage shall not fall again. Christian Cage shall go right to the top. Sami Zayn, this match is for you and you alone to see what is coming for you, when we cross paths. With those words Christian Cage drops the microphone and stares intensely into the camera. The camera stays on him for a few seconds as you could see the fire in his eyes. After several seconds the screen then fades to darkness and we cut to commercial getting ready for the next segment of the evening. Christian Cage VS. Mikey Wild SINGLES OR TAG MATCH The audience cheer as they see Cage and Mikey Wild circling in the middle of the ring before locking up, and their hero the father immediately gains the upper hand, locking in a headlock and pushing his opponent up against the ropes. He throws him off of the ropes, whipping him across the ring, and lays down on the ground allowing his opponent to jump over him, before leaping up to his feet and hitting a great hip toss which sends his opponent tumbling to the mat. Cage rolls through and is up and takes a few steps back before dashing across the ring and hitting a low dropkick to the face as Mikey Wild finds himself on his hands and knees, which sends him toppling through the ropes and to the outside of the ring. Cage punches the air a few times, imploring the fans to keep chanting for the father which they gladly do, before he runs and climbs onto the turn buckle and waits for Mikey Wild, before moving and jumping to hit a big crossbody! He rolls right off of his opponent before looking out at the audience with a smirk as he lifts his jobber opponent up to his feet and rolls him under the bottom rope. He slides in after him before taking a couple of steps back and ascending the top rope as his opponent rolls onto his back. Cage looks around at the audience before running his fingers through his hair and throwing his arms out to the side, as he climbed up and leaping off with a frog splash! He connects perfectly with the high flying move, and the referee gets down to make the count as Cage stays on top of Mikey Wild ... One, Two, Three! WINNER Christian Cage PINFALL | 4:25

The crowd settles down after the second match of the night. The arena lights dim, and the trons light up, showing a luxurious limousine pulling up outside the venue. The brakes squeal to a halt, and the door swings open. Out steps Liv Morgan, her long, straight blonde hair cascading down her back. Dressed in all black with heels to match, her smile gleams brightly as she hauls a small suitcase, closing the door behind her.BETH PHOENIX: Well look, it’s Liv Morgan! Looking beautiful as ever! MAURO RANALLO: I wonder what Liv’s business is here on Heat tonight. Liv strides confidently towards the entrance doors, the crowd buzzing with curiosity. Unbeknownst to her, a shadowy figure follows closely behind her. Just as Liv reaches for the door, she is suddenly yanked back by her hair, a hand gripping the tip of her jeans. The force slams her against the side of the very limousine she just exited, the sickening thud of her skull crashing against the metal echoing through the air. The crowd in the arena gasps in shock as the assailant steps into the light, revealing herself to be Isla Dawn. Isla pulls down the hood of her cloak, displaying a sadistic smile.ISLA DAWN: Aww, where’s your pal Rhea, now!? MAURO RANALLO: Isla Dawn! She was caught sniffing around Liv, trying to make a friend out of her on Raw, but what the hell is happening here? This doesn’t seem friendly at all! Isla takes a few steps back, watching Liv slump to the ground in pain. Backstage staff rush to the scene, but Isla isn't finished. With a maniacal glint in her eye, she charges towards Liv, driving her knees into Liv's face, cementing her head into the limousine's side even harder. Liv lets out a cry of agony as security finally pulls Isla away, her cackling laughter echoing in the parking lot.BETH PHOENIX: This is just sick, Mauro! They need to stop this! The camera focuses on Liv, who lies on the ground, clutching her head and wincing in pain. As the medical team assists Liv, the screen transitions to a replay of the attack, highlighting Isla's brutality. The crowd watches in stunned silence, the shocking ambush replaying multiple times from different angles, leaving the audience with a sense of unease and anticipation for what’s to come.BETH PHOENIX: This was a premeditated assault, Mauro. Isla Dawn has made it clear that she has a target on Liv Morgan. But why? What’s driving her to such extreme measures? MAURO RANALLO: I have a feeling we’re going to find out soon enough, Beth. Isla Dawn’s actions tonight are just the beginning of something much darker as her Unholy Union sister, Alba Fyre goes against someone else they seem to have it out for - Alexa Bliss in tomorrow night's main event on Raw!

BETH PHOENIX: Are we really having to do this again? MAURO RANALLO: It would seem as though Pat McAfee did not forget this week. BETH PHOENIX: Coming up next, fans...the Better Red Than Dead Slam of the Week, presented by Taco Bell. MAURO RANALLO: Taco Bell! Try the new cantina chicken menu! BETH PHOENIX: Okay, that actually doesn't sound half bad. MAURO RANALLO: The cantina chicken hard taco melt, the cantina chicken quesadilla and the cantina chicken burrito are all out now for a limited time at Taco Bell. BETH PHOENIX: What the heck? Those actually sound amazing. MAURO RANALLO: Let's just get this over with. MAURO RANALLO: Oh wow, okay then. We got the whole match in the segment somehow. BETH PHOENIX: Well, the match was only thirty seconds long. MAURO RANALLO: An impressive win by Cargill and I'm sure she'll be thrilled to be the Better Red Than Dead Slam of the Week. BETH PHOENIX: Presented by Taco Bell! MAURO RANALLO: I'm starting to get the feeling that you're enjoying this weekly segment, Beth. BETH PHOENIX: If McAfee can find a way to get the sponsorship catered here for it, I'm all for it, yes!

Post by Danhausen on May 17, 2024 14:49:44 GMT -5
The crowd pops when Danhausen's theme hits, as it was certainly unexpected! It looks as if the very nice yet very evil grappler is set to make his WWE debut here on Sunday Night Heat! The arena lights flicker red, black and white for a few seconds before Danhausen is spotted at the top of the entrance ramp. He bares his teeth and hisses at the crowd, almost as if he was surprised by the reaction from the WWE Universe. BETH PHOENIX: It's Danhausen! MAURO RANALLO: Ladies and gentlemen, we're witnessing a spectacle like no other as Danhausen, the very nice, very evil enigma, makes his official WWE debut here tonight on Sunday Night Heat! This very real human being has captivated audiences with his bizarre antics and unique charisma. Beth, I don't know if you know - but he is definitely a human being. BETH PHOENIX: Yes, of course he is. Everyone knows that normal human beings go around reminding everyone else that they are in fact human. Totally normal behavior. MAURO RANALLO: Beth, a word of advice, if I can? Hide your teeth and bite your tongue when you're talking about Danhausen! He might curse you! MIKE ROME: The following contest is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first .. from Someplace Far Away ..claiming to stand in at over 6 feet, 7 inches tall and weighting over 300 pounds - he is very nice and very evil - DANHAUUUSSSSEEENNN! Danhausen waves to the people and smiles awkwardly, before folding his hands in front of him and shuffling down the aisle. Once he reaches the bottom of the ramp, he looks at his opponent Low Rider in the ring and snarls, baring his teeth once again. Danhausen saunters into the ring, before dramatically posing for the hard-cam, as the fans cheer for him again. Danhausen removes his cape, tosses it to the ground and focuses on his foe for the evening.MIKE ROME: And his opponent, from Houston, Texas - LOW RIIIIDER! Low Rider hits a pose for the hard cam as his name plate pops up. Danhausen hisses in the background, as the referee calls for the bell and this match is underway!DANHAUSEN VS. LOW RIDER SINGLES MATCH
Danhausen and Low Rider begin to circle around each other, trying to feel the other one out. Low Rider, however, is unable to gauge just what to expect from the strange Danhausen. Before they even tie up the crowd begins to chant "DANHAUSEN!" loudly, which draws the ire of Low Rider who shakes his head and immediately kicks Danhausen in the gut, followed by a stiff club to the shoulder area! He scoops him up and delivers a big scoop slam to Danhausen, which causes the crowd to boo him. Low Rider takes a second before picking Danhausen up by his hair and shooting him off into the ropes. Danhausen rebounds, and catches Low Rider's wild clothesline, turns him around and delivers a nicely executed release Northern Lights suplex! Low Rider staggers up into the corner, and Danhausen comes charging at him and attacks with a back elbow! Danhausen slips out of the ropes and onto the apron, and delivers a rising knee to the back of Low Rider's head, in some sort of homage to "Pepsi Phil". Low Rider is staggered to the center of the ring, but still remains on his feet. He rushes towards Danhausen on the apron, and Danhausen delivers a shoulder thrust through the ropes to Low Rider's stomach. With Low Rider hunched over, Danhausen hops up and over the ropes, clasping onto Low Rider's waist and hitting a German suplex! The crowd pops for it, as Low Rider rolls up to his feet and clutches his head. Danhausen raises his hands ... AND PLACES A CURSE ON LOWER RIDER THAT WILL DAMN HIS SOUL FOR THE REST OF ETERNITY! The crowd cheers loudly as Low Rider looks distraught before Danhausen rushes in, goes up and locks in an Octopus Stretch that he calls THE OCTOHAUSEN! Danhausen cranks the stretch and Low Rider has no choice but to tap out! WINNER DANHAUSEN SUBMISSION | 4:29
Danhausen releases the hold as Low Rider clutches at his neck and shoulder area. The referee hoists up Danhausen's hand as the crowd cheers loudly. MIKE ROME: Here is your winner .. DANHAUSEN! BETH PHOENIX: This guy is .. strange, to say the least. But, at the very least, Danhausen was able to pick up a victory here tonight! MAURO RANALLO: Danhausen is victorious here tonight in his first night in WWE, and I have a feeling that a locker room filled with some of the most eclectic people in the world, just got a whole heck of a lot weirder! Danhausen hisses at the referee, who pulls away. Danhausen, satisfied with himself, shuffles out of the ring and back up the ramp, gently acknowledging fans along the way.
