The Sunday Night Heat intro plays and the fans inside the arena begin to cheer loudly, as the lights begin to flicker and spotlights cut through the crowd. As the shows intro ends, the camera pans around the arena and catches a few shots of rowdy fans who are cheering loudly. We cut to the commentary booth, where Beth Phoenix and Mauro Ranallo are ready to announce for the evening. MAURO RANALLO: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Sunday Night Heat. I'm Mauro Ranallo joined as always by Beth Phoenix. Beth, this last Monday night on RAW we witnessed an intense main event that saw The Best Tag Team in the World reclaim the WWE Tag Team Championships! BETH PHOENIX: And what a match it was, Mauro! I've heard rumblings that it's being considered a contender for the Tag Team Match of the Year at the Slammy Awards! MAURO RANALLO: It's certainly well deserved! Those four men put their bodies on the line in a big way, I was on the edge of my seat the entire time! And if that's not enough, we're now on the road to Money in the Bank as qualifier matches start tomorrow night on RAW! BETH PHOENIX: The Money in the Bank is truly a career changing match, and I can't wait to see how these qualifying matches shake out! I wonder if we'll see any of the potential Money in the Bank candidates here tonight on Heat? MAURO RANALLO: I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest, everyone is going to be wanting to make an impact right now! We have a big night ahead of us, so let's not waste any more time and let's get ready for our first match of the night! The camera cuts away, as the fans and the rest of the WWE Universe await the first match of Sunday Night Heat.

Nick Wayne is seen backstage for the moment, waiting for his match tonight as he also seen with a card within his hands, as Nick Wayne reads the card as it is and wonders why he wasn't given a match with The Rock tonight. After the last few weeks he thought it would be a certain match up – given that he had entered into the money in the bank and was seeking to do whatever he could to impress his father. He had a sense of duty and purpose now, his father had won gold, he had ended Sami Zayn and brought championship success to them, now it was his turn to step up and do the same, but before that, he has a match tonight, to lead by example and give a taste to the unlucky person who would be taking on Nick Wayne live on Raw. Nick Wayne: Captain Shawn Dean, the next victim to fall. It's not every day you get to fight someone new like this who is like me, trying to make a name for themselves here. The poor young unfortunate soul of Captain Shawn Dean who has no sense of direction and purpose here. A man I will have no pity for. A man who does not yet know what I am capable of. You can't understand true power until you look it in the eye and face it upon your own free will. For as long as I am being fed these weaklings, I will keep knocking them down. I want a real challenge, as for tonight, I will send a message then, right here, right now to everyone who is watching, next week I will gain entry into the money in the bank ladder match and more than even that, I will go on and win the entire thing and bring me glory to my father and our growing family here. Nick Wayne looks at the card one more time and notices Jay White and Matt Cardona have matches of their own. He lets out a small sigh and then a little smile. The type of smile you can hardly tell is actually there, the type of smile you can hardly call a smile. He thought to himself about the possibility of letting the past slip, but it's hard to imagine the young son forgiving anyone. Especially men like this, who don’t deserve the chance they have been given, to perform and earn a chance at glory. Nick Wayne: I can't forget, I won't forgive – anyone who has ever spoke down to my father, or gotten in his way, or just thinks they deserve more than he does, is in my way and like any good son out there, all I want to do, is back him proud of me and it starts, tonight and it continues to next week and onwards to the show where I take that briefcase for myself and make history. That is then, this is now and right now, Nick Wayne has a match to win, dedicated to greatest champion this company has ever seen, the man I am proud to call my own flesh and blood, my father, Christian Cage. He would move for the moment and tear up the card, he had one week then to wait, one mere week to wait until he could step up and get his chance for gain entry into the money in the bank, tonight was business as always then for him, tonight was about putting everyone on notice, he was more than ready, for his moment and his time, to make a name for himself and make his father proud. NICK WAYNE VS. CAPTAIN SHAWN DEAN SINGLES MATCH Both superstars immediately locked up at the sound of the starting bell. Captain Shawn Dean got the upper-hand as he kneed Wayne in the stomach numerous times before backing him up into the corner. From there, Captain Shawn Dean continually punched Wayne in the face before backing off of him, walked to the centre of the ring, then rushed back toward Wayne and attempted the Drive-by Kick. Wayne was able to dodge the manoeuvre just in time for Captain Shawn Dean right leg to get caught up on the top turnbuckle pad. Following that, Wayne retaliated with a swinging neck-breaker to Captain Shawn Dean from the corner.
Afterwards, Wayne rushed to the outside of the ring, looked under it, grabbed a steel chair, and then went back into the ring to assault Captain Shawn Dean. Once Captain Shawn Dean stood back up, he quickly took notice of Wayne targeting him with the weapon. For a couple of moments, Wayne chased Captain Shawn Dean around the ring with the steel chair in hand, until Captain Shawn Dean was finally backed into a corner. Wayne then rushed toward Captain Shawn Dean and attempted a chair shot, however Captain Shawn Dean ducked, and Wayne hit the turnbuckle instead.
Immediately following that, Captain Shawn Dean knocked Wayne down with a clothesline from behind. He then placed the chair right in front of his feet, then picked Wayne up and attempted the DDT onto the steel chair, but Wayne ended up countering the move and gave Captain Shawn Dean a DDT head-first onto the chair instead. Wayne then climbed the top rope, leaped off, and nailed Captain Shawn Dean with the frog splash, before yanking him up and jumping and hitting the cutter on him!
He pinned. 1- 2- 3!
WINNER NICK WAYNE PINFALL | 2:30 Nick Wayne quickly kicksup and lands onto his feet, looking around himself for the moment as the people would jeer him for himself and his actions, as he would raise his hand into the air and point right upwards, signalling the money in the bank briefcase, would be there in a handful of weeks, and when all is said and all is done, it will be him, who makes the climbs and takes it.

The champion would be shown backstage. He was ready for tonight and he was also ready for what was to come, he had the title, he had won the title, he had done what he had promised, was there even any shred of doubt within anyone at all that it could not be done, laughable indeed as he would stand there, title on him as he smirks, so much has changed, so much has improved and now, with money in the bank coming up, he was looking ahead to his son stepping up and performing to add even more success and glory to there ground and to prove everyone wrong, they are the future, if you are not with them, then you are destined only for failure. Christian Cage: No one ever said it would be easy. No one ever said that this journey I have been on for over twenty years would be a walk in the park. I am starting to see that now – that I am not the man I am twenty years ago, that my body is failing me. The injuries are catching up and my time – is coming to an end. Twenty years is a long time to be doing this with nothing to show. I have fought my way to this moment, to this chance and let me tell you something – it was worth it. Cody Rhodes – I need to thank you. Honestly you showed me that my biggest weakest, my number one flaw – was underestimating people. I looked at you and saw nothing more than a bargain bucket Dusty – and I was wrong, you are nothing like that man. You are sniffling, pathetic, overrated, cowardly piece of crap. I told you – that your hollow victories, the things you have done to me – will not stop me, that you managed to win one over on me and again weasel away from me, retain your honour and then run – heck anyone else would have let that get to them, they would have thrown in the towel – they would have let you get the win you wanted, to be the one to end it all – but me – nah. You messed up– you didn’t kill me. I warned you, that I don’t learn, that it’s not in my nature. You keep beating me and I keep coming back for me. You put me through hell – and yet I could still stand, I could still fight and I could still win and that’s what I did. I went out there against all the odds, after getting beaten and battered, talked down, told I was not good enough and I won. I am going to the top now, twenty years paying off – main event player, the star – where are you going Cody? Ran away again, while your wife brings home the bacon. He would smirk a little bit, the defeat was still sore, but do you know what he did he bounced back from that defeat with a victory, but not just with any victory – the one victory he has been chasing his entire career, the one victory that makes everything he has done in WWE – worth it. All because of his first match back here and the defeat he had suffered at the hands of Cody Rhodes had changed everything for him. Yet there was one person, who would not leave him alone, time and time again, they were still chasing him. Christian Cage: Sami Zayn. Me and you go way back. Me and you have history. Me and you have stepped into a WWE ring before and we fucking knocked it out of the park. I am not out here to pick a fight with you, I am not out here to cause a stir. I am out here to say one thing and one thing only Sami Zayn – you want to fight me again. let’s put on a damn clinic. I am gunning for more here– you know it, you know me – this is not like last time, this is different. The one thing that has always escaped me is right there and you know I am going to give it my all and you – heck – you’re the best here Sami Zayn, our match proved that, and your gunning for the title for a reason. But I want this Sami Zayn – I want this more than you will ever know. I need it, I have to keep this title – and I just want you to know that – that this is nothing personal. That I hold nothing against, we have fought and beat the heck out of each other many times, but I respect you – but let me tell you – that does not mean I will go easy on you! You want to face me again Sami Zayn, you want the chance to win the title again Sami Zayn, then stop hiding, stop crying, stop blaming everyone else, because until you prove yourself to me, until you do something of worth, until you repeat my process and out win everyone else, Sami Zayn, your never going to get a title match against me, as long as you live, because I look around and see this place and I see, no one at all, worthy to face me for the title. As he would chuckle, turning and slapping the chest of the towering and lingering Killswitch as he would move with the massive man and make his way to the ring with him for his match, he was a champion and he was a fighting champion and he was going to remind everyone, why he has the gold and why Sami Zayn, has nothing left.
CHRISTIAN & KILLSWITCH VS. FLY DEF TAG MATCH Christian starts the match with Warren and right away, a hard slap right across the face of the man as he quickly retreats back into the corner as Killswitch makes the tag, stepping into the ring as Warren looks at the big man and him alone as out from the side Christian runs and connects with the spear onto him, taking him out before running and hitting Zack right off the ring apron to crash onto the floor there, before he slides out of the ring, as Killswitch grabs the fallen man, picks him up and hits the chokeslam to him and makes the quick cover, one, two, three!
WINNER CHRISTIAN & KILLSWITCH PINFALL! 0:30 Just like that, the match was over, as he grabs the title and moves over to the big man, holding it up for one and all to see, that he was the champion, he was Sunday Night Heat, he was Monday Night Raw, he was the only thing worth seeing, worth watching, worth even knowing as well, as he would smirk and wink as he sent his message to Sami Zayn, and as well as everyone else, you want a title match, you want the chance, you have to step and earn it.

With Skyler Moore seen in the ring, doing a few arm stretches, "Ball Pit" by def rebel blasts over the speakers as Shotzi Blackheart appears on the stage in her signature tank. The crowd are on their feet as Shotzi drives the tank down to the ring, soon stopping it at ringside and climbing out of it. MIKE ROME: And her opponent, The Ballsy Badass, Shoootziii Blaaackhearrrt! Taking off her helmet and jacket, Shotzi then slides into the ring and poses in the corner.BETH PHOENIX: Shotzi coming off of a huge victory at RAW last week. MAURO RANALLO: She was the first to hand Alba Fyre a loss. Can she keep that momentum going? Shotzi drops down from the turnbuckles and turns to Skyler with a smile on her face. She tilts her head slightly to the side.SHOTZI BLACKHEART VS. SKYLER MOORE SINGLES MATCH As the opening bell rings, both women circle one another. It's Shotzi who makes the first move, advancing on Skylar with a barrage of shots before backing her into the ring ropes and crushing her with a Step-Up Enzuigiri. Skylar staggers forward, allowing Shotzi to strike with a Slingshot DDT. Shotzi allows her to rise to her feet and as she does, Shotzi runs at her. Skyler dodges and manages to club Shotzi in the back. She continues to club at her with numerous shots but soon, Shotzi manages to spring back from the ring ropes for a quick Slingblade. As Shotzi rises to her feet, she turns to the stage to see Alba Fyre stood, with her trusty baseball bat resting against her shoulder. Alba glares at Shotzi, her head tilted to one side. Shotzi turns away to see Skyler slowly rising to her feet. As she does, Shotzi runs at her with a huge Switchblade Kick. Seconds later, Shotzi grabs the arms of Skyler and launches her over with a Tiger Suplex. She keeps her down for the pin attempt, the three count and the victory! WINNER SHOTZI BLACKHEART PINFALL @ 1:39 BETH PHOENIX: Another impressive display from Shotzi! MAURO RANALLO: Her roll continues but it's safe to say she does have a target on her back. As Shotzi has her hand raised in victory, she celebrates briefly but she takes a more defensive stance as Alba Fyre wanders down to the ring. Shotzi slips out of the ring but Alba gives chase, swinging her baseball bat, as the two disappear backstage.

The arena pulses with anticipation as Mankind's entrance music fills the air. With his eerie presence, Mankind steps into the ring, ready for action. Across the ring, Ryzin stands tall, his muscles rippling with power. MANKIND VS. RYZIN SINGLES MATCH As the bell rings, Ryzin charges forward, aiming to overpower Mankind with his strength. But Mankind proves to be elusive, ducking and dodging Ryzin's attacks. MAURO RANALLO: Ryzin is relentless in his attack, but Mankind's agility is keeping him one step ahead! The match continues with both competitors trading momentum, each refusing to back down. Mankind unleashes his signature maneuvers, while Ryzin showcases his raw power. Mankind and Ryzin exchange a flurry of strikes in the center of the ring. Suddenly, Mankind seizes an opening, staggering Ryzin with a swift kick to the midsection. With lightning-fast reflexes, Mankind locks his fingers around Ryzin's jaw, applying excruciating pressure. MAURO RANALLO: Mankind with the Mandible Claw! He's got Ryzin in his clutches! Despite Ryzin's desperate struggles, Mankind's grip remains unyielding. The crowd watches in awe as Ryzin's strength begins to wane, his face contorted in agony. BETH PHOENIX: Ryzin is fading fast, Mauro! There's nowhere for him to go! It's only a matter of time now! With a final roar of defiance, Ryzin taps out, conceding defeat to Mankind. The arena erupts into a mixed reaction as Mankind celebrates his hard-earned victory, his twisted grin visible beneath his mask. WINNER MANKIND SUBMISSION | 3:32 After his hard-fought victory over Ryzin, Mankind stands in the center of the ring, breathing heavily. The crowd's cheers quickly turn to murmurs of disgust and disapproval as he raises a microphone to his mouth. His voice, screechy and filled with self-doubt, echoes through the arena. MANKIND: You see... you see tonight was supposed to be my moment... my validation... my homecoming. He pauses, looking around at the faces of the crowd, their expressions filled with disdain. The murmurs grow louder, and Mankind's shoulders slump slightly. MANKIND: But... but look at you... You're all disgusted by me. You look at me and you see a freak... a monster. You cheer for my pain, but you never cheer for ME. His voice cracks, the self-doubt seeping through every word. MANKIND: All I've ever wanted... was to be accepted, to be loved. I thought... I thought maybe here, in the WWE, I could find that. But no matter how much I bleed, no matter how much I suffer, it's never enough for you, is it? The crowd's boos and jeers grow louder, their rejection palpable. Mankind clutches the microphone tighter, his voice rising in desperation. MANKIND: I give you everything! I give you my body, my soul, and all I get in return is your disgust! What more do you want from me?! He drops to his knees, the microphone shaking in his hand, his voice a tortured whisper. MANKIND: Please... someone... anyone... tell me... why am I never good enough? The crowd's reaction intensifies, their disdain echoing in Mankind's ears. He clutches his head, shaking it violently as if trying to rid himself of their harsh judgment. MANKIND: Fine! If my suffering is what you crave, then that's what you'll get! I'll keep fighting, I'll keep bleeding, but know this... every drop of blood, every broken bone, is on your hands! With a final, anguished scream, Mankind throws down the microphone and exits the ring, his twisted grin replaced by a mask of pain and confusion. The WWE Universe watches, their rejection still lingering in the air as Mankind disappears backstage, his heart heavy with self-doubt.

BETH PHOENIX: It would seem as though Mankind has put the onus of his pain and suffering on the WWE fans. MAURO RANALLO: Onus? Are we sure we're using that term correctly here? BETH PHOENIX: Mauro, I got the finest New York education money could buy. I think I'm using the term 'onus' correctly! MAURO RANALLO: Well, that being said, it's time for the hottest weekly Sunday Night Heat segment - - BETH PHOENIX: Is it!? Is it time!? MAURO RANALLO: It's time! MAURO RANALLO: Not sure how it could have really been anything else. BETH PHOENIX: Certainly a match of the year candidate and CM Punk going full Kool-Aid man on the zamboni is an indelible image. MAURO RANALLO: Okay, first onus and then indelible? What's going on with you? BETH PHOENIX: Move on, Mauro! Find a new slant! MAURO RANALLO: What are you talking about? You're just using weird words. BETH PHOENIX: Don't they have, like, a footlong cookie at Subway right now? Mauro lets out a defeated sigh.MAURO RANALLO: Right now at Subway, it's buy any footlong and get a second footlong half off! Not to mention, the new sidekicks at Subway as well. A footlong churro! A footlong pretzel with hot mustard and the footlong cookie is back! BETH PHOENIX: The footlong cookie is back, Mauro! MAURO RANALLO: Surely this segment is going to run out of willing sponsors soon. BETH PHOENIX: Not if I can help it! We're going to get some free food here come hell or high water! McAfee! I'm calling you out! Where is our footlong cookie!? MAURO RANALLO: She's putting the onus on you, McAfee. BETH PHOENIX: Okay, now you're just being bitter that I'm using bigger words than you. MAURO RANALLO: Let's get back to the action.

MIKE ROME: Already in the ring, Mikey Wild! And his opponent, from Atlanta, Georgia…. Austin Theory! BETH PHOENIX: We are getting ourselves another Austin Theory match here on Heat. Aside from Rick Knox’s involvement in his matches, he’s looked good in his appearances here. MAURO RANALLO: Of course, Rick Knox has once again been assigned to this match here tonight. Wonder how this keeps happening? BETH PHOENIX: That’s a good point. We have a good number of referees in the back. How does Knox keep getting the Theory matches? MAURO RANALLO: We saw Knox get his clocked clean last week in the empty arena match by CM Punk. He was supposed to not be involved but got involved and then took a GTS for his troubles! BETH PHOENIX: I’m not sure how he thought that janitor outfit was going to work. MAURO RANALLO: There’s a good chance he’s not real bright. BETH PHOENIX: Your words, not mine. AUSTIN THEORY VS MIKEY WILD SINGLES MATCH Again, like last week, Austin Theory points over at Mikey Wild and then at Knox. Theory tells Knox that he’s got some kind of illegal foreign object on his person. Knox checks Mikey, giving him a full pat down but does not find anything. Rick turns towards Austin and lightly shakes his head. Theory rolls his eyes and throws his hands out to his side. Even in this instance, it’s difficult for Knox to plant anything on Mikey if he doesn’t actually have anything on him. Rick Knox comes over and checks Austin Theory for any illegal objects now. Theory rolls his eyes again and puts his arms out to his side. Knox doesn’t find anything on him but as he stands back up, he appears to say or whisper something into Austin’s ear and Theory nods in agreement for whatever was said to him. Knox clears both men and calls for the bell, getting this one underway. BETH PHOENIX: These Austin Theory matches are the only matches, week in and week out, with any kind of weird stuff happening in them. MAURO RANALLO: Hard to disagree with you. Knox and Theory are an awful combination. BETH PHOENIX: I was hopeful when the Young Bucks lost that this stuff would die down a bit but they’re right back here at it again. MAURO RANALLO: Well, let’s just see how this one plays out. Mikey Wild and Austin Theory here on Sunday Night Heat! Wild and Theory circle one another and go to lock up but before they do, Theory drives his knee up and into Mikey’s stomach, doubling him over. Austin places his hand on the back of Wild’s head and drops an elbow on it and then another one. Mikey grabs at the back of his head and Austin capitalizes, hooking his arms under Wild’s arms as he’s bent over, lifting him up and over with a butterfly suplex! Theory goes for a pin but only gets a two count. Austin looks over at referee Rick Knox and smacks his hands together three times. Knox gives him an annoyed look and holds up two fingers indicating a two count. Theory stays on the attack, grabbing Wild around the head with a headlock as Mikey is in the seated position. He holds him down there for a good minute or two, really wrenching in the pressure. Mikey works his way back up to his feet though. Theory tries to keep the headlock held on him but Mikey drives his elbow in Austin’s midsection now. Once and then twice more, finally breaking free from the hold. Mikey runs off the ropes but Austin is in after him, hitting him with a clothesline right as he reaches the ropes, taking Mikey Wild up and over the top rope and tumbling to the floor. BETH PHOENIX: High and heavy impact moves here from Austin Theory. MAURO RANALLO: He has a bit of an edge to him here tonight. Theory steps through the ropes and hops down to the floor with Mikey. Austin pulls him back up to his feet and hoists him up, holding him up on his shoulder and then he flips him over quickly, slamming Mikey into the apron with a bodyslam! Wild rolls off the apron and lands on the floor in a heap once again. Theory picks Mikey back up and rolls him into the ring again. Theory hops up on the apron, running over towards the corner and up to the top rope. Austin turns his back to the downed Mikey Wild and takes flight, drilling Wild with a beautiful moonsault! Wild clutches at his midsection as he’s pulled back up to his feet by Theory. Austin wastes no time, drilling Mikey with the A-Town Down! Wild is out! Theory goes for the pin! 1…2…3! WINNER AUSTIN THEORY PINFALL | 3:58 MAURO RANALLO: No Rick Knox needed in this one other than to make the count. Austin Theory with a very dominant win here. BETH PHOENIX: Theory might be a darkhorse for Money in the Bank. MAURO RANALLO: It’s going to be extremely competitive but you can’t count Theory out, that’s for sure.
