Monday Night RAW
June 17, 2024
First Interstate Arena
Billings, Montana
As the opening video package ends, pyro explodes on the stage as the crowd in Billings, Montana is erupting in cheers. The cameras pan through the crowd, showing off various signs reading things like “Bron Break-him!”, “MJ EFF YOU!”, “Ahoy, Captain KAIRI!” and more. After doing a pan of the First Interstate Arena, the cameras settle in on the commentary table where we see the team of Michael Cole and Wade Barrett.
MICHAEL COLE: Good evening everybody and welcome to Monday Night RAW! I'm Michael Cole, joined as always by Wade Barrett, and what a show we have in store tonight! Last week we saw several of the superstars qualifying for a chance at Money in the Bank, and an opportunity that only comes along for the few superstars that can manage to secure that briefcase everyone so sorely desires!
WADE BARRETT: That’s right, Cole, and it started off so promisingly with Dakota Kai and KAIRI really giving it their all to secure an opportunity at said briefcase! Both of these superstars really brought everything they had to the table but only one could walk out with their opportunity only a step away from them!
MICHAEL COLE: And I would like to think that both of them earned a lot of credit for their performances last week! KAIRI might not have walked out with an opportunity at Money in the Bank but she certainly turned a few heads backstage I’d have to imagine!
WADE BARRETT: She wasn’t the only one turning a few heads, Lola Vice made her surprise entry being handpicked by Dawn Marie to take her place! Britt Baker certainly wasn’t expecting it though, and it made for a much more interesting match if you ask me! Lola Vice clearly shows her MMA background and that fighting spirit that’s going to be essential for her future in WWE. She left a few marks on Baker that she probably won’t be getting rid of any time soon!
MICHAEL COLE: Britt Baker, however, did manage to overcome the odds stacked against her and secured that opportunity for Money in the Bank! The biggest surprise though was Danhausen getting the assist that catapulted him forward in a big way! The Rock was about to secure his own victory but the masked men interfered once again and Danhausen took his opportunity and made the most of it by putting away The Final Boss which is a victory in and of itself, never mind qualifying Money in the Bank as the cherry on top!
WADE BARRETT: Blasphemy, Cole! Almost as bad as Pat McAfee coming down here to steal a victory from Matt Cardona! MJF even tried to even the odds but it was too little too late by the time he got down here in the main event!
MICHAEL COLE: What are you talking about? McAfee clearly only came down after MJF did so he could interfere on behalf of Cardona!
WADE BARRETT: That’s not how I remember it, I think you might need to get your brain scanned, Cole! Next thing you know you’ll be telling me Lita wasn’t here last week to challenge Serena Deeb!
MICHAEL COLE: Lita was here, and she did challenge Serena!
WADE BARRETT: So you admit that your memory isn’t great? Because clearly McAfee was the problem and not MJF!
MICHAEL COLE: The real problem is Eric Bischoff, I’m not sure that his intentions are for the better interest of WWE. It’s bad enough that he’s staining Corey Graves’ name by representing him, he also insulted me last week!
WADE BARRETT: What are you talking about? Clearly he was very respectful when he came out here to scout some of the talent in our tag division. The Motor City Machine Guns and The Basham Brothers both put on a great show for him and the WWE Universe!
MICHAEL COLE: I’m not sure it speaks well for the future of our WWE Tag Team Champions, they may want to keep their eyes open for that snake in the grass and whatever his plans are!
WADE BARRETT: If they’re fighting champions it shouldn’t be a problem for them. They said they are willing to take on whoever comes their way, let them deal with whatever consequences may arise from Bischoff picking a team that will clearly be superior in every way after he chooses one!
MICHAEL COLE: Well let’s not put the cart before the horse, he hasn’t even really slimmed down his options yet. We know how notoriously picky he is when it comes to his ideal candidates to represent.
WADE BARRETT: Let me tell you, Cole, you have to pick wisely when it comes to who you associate with in this business. Right now, it’ll be interesting to see how Isla Dawn fares in her match with Velvet Sky, another Money in the Bank qualifier.
MICHAEL COLE: I’m more excited to see how Goldust does when he faces up with Adam Page. Nothing against the ladies, it’s just going to be interesting to see what Goldust has up his sleeve this week.
WADE BARRETT: I’ll tell you what isn’t up his sleeve, as surefire a victory as Nick Wayne will have. Under Christian’s tutelage he’s become a new man, and quite frankly I can’t wait to see him put away that sideshow freak, Kizarny! But enough talk about that, our main event is one that you’d expect to be saved for our next premium live event, but the powers that be have allowed this crowd here in Billings to get that event of the next century when we get to watch Diesel and Swerve Strickland square off one last time for the WWE Championship!
MICHAEL COLE: Strickland managed to manipulate his way into getting another match out of the big man. You have to imagine that this tiebreaker match is going to be remembered for years to come!
WADE BARRETT: It certainly will be, now why don’t we - -
Suddenly, with no warning, "Celtic Invasion" hits the PA system, and the crowd roars as Becky Lynch storms out from the back, clad in her leather jacket, the Women's Intercontinental Championship held on her shoulder, but there's no pride in her face, just anger as she stomps down the ramp, ignoring the positive reaction she's getting she quickly makes her way to the ring, snapping the mic out of the announcer’s hand, as she paces back and forth in the ring. As her music dies down, Becky raises the microphone up to her mouth and begins to speak.
BECKY LYNCH: Let's be real, I'm not supposed to be here. And I don't just mean in this ring, even though I'm holding up the show. I mean, I'm not even supposed to be in this building. But there's no way I'm going to let a little ban keep The Man from coming around.
The crowd pops again, but Becky just continues on.
BECKY LYNCH: See, I was banned from the building last week, but that doesn't mean I'm blind; I watched RAW last week. I heard what a certain someone had to say, and I had a whole week to chew on it, so I'll just cut to the chase. Steph! Get your rich, privileged, nepo baby ass out here!
Becky pulls the microphone away from her mouth and turns her attention to the entrance area as she holds her arms out to the side as if to say, “what are you waiting for?” After a moment, “Welcome to the Queendom” by Jim Johnston begins to play and the crowd boos as WWE Co-Owner Stephanie McMahon walks to the top of the ramp, a microphone already in her hand. Stephanie smirks as she looks down at Becky in the ring and makes it clear that she has no intentions of going further than the top of the ramp. As her music fades out, Stephanie waits for the crowd to quiet down before raising her microphone to her mouth to address Becky.
STEPHANIE MCMAHON: You know, Becky, I said last week that I’m tired of your disrespect and that I expect an apology from you, and that’s still the case. Now, you’ve just disrespected me yet again, so I’m going to add your latest jabs to the list of things you need to apologize for. So, now that I’m out here, are you going to do the right thing and apologize for your actions?
Becky considers those words before suddenly frowning,
BECKY LYNCH: You know something? I never really thought about it like that. But I guess...yeah, maybe you're right Steph, maybe I do owe you an apology...
In surprise, the crowd starts booing, but Becky holds her hand up.
BECKY LYNCH: No, no, guys, hear me out. The boss wants an apology, and maybe I said a few things out of turn. You know sometimes my mouth gets me in trouble, so maybe I should apologize.
Becky takes a moment to clear her throat dramatically.
BECKY LYNCH: Stephanie, from the bottom of my heart, I'm sorry...
....I'm sorry, I speak my mind.
I'm sorry, I don't give a damn what "Corporate" thinks.
I'm sorry, I'm free in all the ways you're not.
I'm sorry that when you go to bed at night, you make Triple H check under the bed for “Boogeyman Becky".
I'm sorry you weren't hugged enough as a kid, and you're taking it out on me.
But most of all "Boss" I'm sorry that I don't give a damn, what you or anyone thinks I should do! I do what I want, when I want!
The crowd pops again as Becky backs off and smirks.
BECKY LYNCH: Oh and by the way? I ain't stupid; I know what happens now. I saw what happened to William Regal. I saw my CV written up in my head the moment I walked out here. Because after all, you gotta show that people "don't cross the boss", right? And you know what? That breaks my heart because this place is my home. But If I can't come out here and speak my mind and be who I am? I'm going somewhere that I can. Who knows, maybe I'll call up "Uncle Tony".
Becky lowers her mic once again as the crowd continues to cheer her on. Stephanie, meanwhile, just smirks and shakes her head and as the fans die down, she continues on.
STEPHANIE MCMAHON: Oh Becky, that was a mistake. See, your contract is iron clad, and I have no intention of letting you out of it any time soon. However, since you refuse to give me a genuine apology for your reprehensible behavior, I have no choice but to make sure there are appropriate consequences for your actions. In two weeks on July first, RAW will be live from Portland, Oregon. And it’s at that event that you will be defending your Women’s Intercontinental Championship in an open challenge battle royal! Any woman who has not qualified for the women’s Money in the Bank will be eligible to participate, and any woman we sign within the next two weeks will also be eligible to participate. You want to continue to be disrespectful, then I’m going to make your life a living hell! So hold onto that championship nice and tight, Becky, because I have a feeling it won’t be yours for much longer.
Stephanie’s smirk now turns into her letting out a full-on laugh as the crowd boos this announcement. “Welcome to the Queendom” begins playing once again and Stephanie drops her mic, before giving a mocking wave to Becky and turning around and heading to the back. Becky, meanwhile, continues to stand in the ring, her eyes narrowed as she can be seen inaudibly cursing the boss. Gritting her teeth, Becky exits the ring and begins stomping her way up the ramp to the back, clearly unhappy with the way Stephanie keeps messing with her.
MICHAEL COLE: What an announcement from Stephanie McMahon! In two weeks, Becky Lynch will defend her Women’s Intercontinental Championship in an open challenge battle royal!
WADE BARRETT: That’s going to be a huge one, Cole, I imagine there will be a lot of women chomping at the bit to get their hands on Becky and that championship!
MICHAEL COLE: One of those women will surely be Shotzi Blackheart, who’s been on a tear since returning to WWE! She recently ended Alba Fyre’s undefeated streak and now she’s looking to keep up the momentum as she takes on the powerhouse Kamille!
Kamille is already standing in the ring, rolling her shoulders as she does her pre-match warm up. “Ball Pit” by def rebel begins to play and the crowd now begins to cheer as Shotzi Blackheart rides her tank out to the top of the ramp. Looking out at the cheering crowd with a big, excited smile, Shotzi turns her attention to Kamille waiting for her in the ring and her face becomes serious when just like she did two weeks ago to Alba Fyre, she shoots out the torpedo from her tank’s cannon, sending it flying into the ring where it narrowly misses Kamille as it skids across the canvas. Kamille looks at the torpedo and then glares up at Shotzi who just smirks as she begins driving her tank down the ramp.
SAMANTHA IRVIN: The following contest is scheduled for one fall! Already in the ring, Kamille! And her opponent, making her way to the ring, The Ballsy Badass, Shoootziii Blaaackhearrrt!
MICHAEL COLE: Shotzi Blackheart exploded onto the scene a couple of weeks ago in a big way, and she brings a unique energy to the women’s division that I think was sorely missing!
WADE BARRETT: She certainly took me by surprise when she got the win over Alba Fyre, Cole, now I’m curious to see how she’ll do against Kamille! I have a feeling Kamille will be looking to redeem herself after such a quick loss to KAIRI a couple of weeks ago.
As she drives her tank to the bottom of the ramp, Shotzi climbs up out of it, taking off her helmet and jacket, placing them both inside the tank before turning and heading over to the steel steps. As she walks up to the apron, Shotzi pauses for a moment and throws her head back as she lets out a wolf-like howl before entering the ring. Walking over to the corner, Shotzi climbs up onto the second turnbuckle and raises her arms into the air as the crowd continues to cheer her, before she hops down and turns to face Kamille, who is now pacing back and forth. As her music fades out, Shotzi nods at Kamille as a mischievous smile forms on her face.
SINGLES MATCH
The bell rings and Shotzi rushes in, nailing Kamille repeatedly with right hand shots as Kamille stumbles back into the ropes, stunned by this sudden onslaught. With the larger woman against the ropes, Shotzi nails Kamille with a forearm to the face and then goes to whip Kamille to the opposite side of the ropes, however Kamille counters and whips Shotzi to the ropes instead! As Shotzi comes back, however, she nails Kamille with a headscissors takedown!
MICHAEL COLE: Once again Shotzi Blackheart is on fire!
WADE BARRETT: I don’t think Kamille even knows where she is right now!
Indeed, Kamille looks stunned after being hit with the headscissors takedown, and she lays on the mat as she tries to collect herself. Shotzi doesn’t waste any time, however, as she rushes out to the apron and climbs up onto the top turnbuckle. Letting out a battle cry, Shotzi leaps off of the top, nailing Kamille with a Diving Senton! Quickly seizing the moment, Shotzi goes for the cover and hooks the leg, 1…2…3! Shotzi wins again!

SAMANTHA IRVIN: Here is your winner, The Ballsy Badass, SHOOOTZIII BLAAACKHEARRRT!
MICHAEL COLE: Shotzi Blackheart has done it again! She’s racked up yet another win, this one a rather quick and decisive one over Kamille!
WADE BARRETT: This is the second time Kamille has lost in just over a minute and you have to imagine she’s not very happy about this, but congratulations to Shotzi Blackheart on a job well done!
The First Interstate Arena is buzzing with excitement after Shotzi Blackheart's hard-fought victory. Shotzi stands in the center of the ring, her arms raised in triumph, her trademark green hair wild and untamed as she basks in the crowd's adulation. BANG!!! Suddenly, out of nowhere, Alba Fyre is storming the ring out of view from Shotzi, and she delivers a devastating superkick to the back of Shotzi's head, completely flooring her! The crowd gasps in shock, their cheers quickly turning to boos.
MICHAEL COLE: Oh my God! Alba Fyre out of nowhere with a vicious superkick! What is she doing here!?
WADE BARRETT: I think we know what she’s doing here, Cole. Shotzi put a target on her back two weeks ago on Raw by simply pinning Alba Fyre. She’s looking for revenge!
Shotzi falls to the mat, dazed. Alba Fyre wastes no time, following Shotzi down and relentlessly pounding her skull with closed fists. The referee tries to intervene but gets shoved aside by Alba. With what little energy she has left, Shotzi struggles to cover herself, and she manages to shift her weight and roll under the ropes, but Alba is right on her heels and behind her. Alba grabs Shotzi and attempts to whip her into the steel steps. However, Shotzi reverses the move, ending Alba crashing into the steps back-first with a loud, bone-jarring impact!
MICHAEL COLE: I think Shotzi just gave herself a level skip on this one! Go on! Get out of here!
WADE BARRETT: Shotzi's doesn’t look done yet, Cole! She's feeding off the energy of the WWE Universe!
Feeling the crowd’s energy, Shotzi runs and tumbles at Alba, performing a running inverted cannonball that smashes Alba's frame into the steps once more! Shotzi rolls away, steadying herself as the crowd roars its approval. As Shotzi backward rolls to her feet, Isla Dawn is seen rushing down the ramp to assist the situation that presented itself.
MICHAEL COLE: Ohhh no! Here comes Isla Dawn!
WADE BARRETT: What is she doing here!? She has a Money in the Bank qualifying match to be preparing for!
Spotting Isla, Shotzi makes a quick decision and hops over the barrier into the crowd. Isla’s eyes stay fixed on Shotzi, but Shotzi bolts through the screaming fans, evading her sight and grasp. Isla then attends to Alba as officials rush to the scene. Alba, furious and humiliated, gets back to her feet, glaring at the retreating Shotzi who disappears into the crowd. The camera captures Alba and Isla's seething expressions as the officials check on them, while the crowd goes ecstatic for Shotzi who’s now deep into the fans, having her own party with them, happy with her escape and the reaction she’s receiving from the WWE Universe.
MICHAEL COLE: I think this is the first time we’ve seen The Unholy Union’s attacks backfire!
WADE BARRETT: This isn't over yet! You can bet by a mile that Alba Fyre will be looking for revenge after that!
MICHAEL COLE: I don’t doubt that for a second, Wade, and we’ll definitely have to keep an eye on that situation! Meanwhile, another thing we need to keep an eye on is our next match! Bron Breakker is making his RAW debut and he’s looking to prove himself against EVIL from House of Torture!
WADE BARRETT: Breakker is a second generation talent looking to make a name for himself here in the WWE, and I can’t think of a better way to do it than a victory over EVIL here tonight!
MICHAEL COLE: That’s definitely one way to make a statement! However, House of Torture is looking to gain some momentum in their favor after getting off to a bit of a rough start here in WWE, so you have to imagine that EVIL is ready to make a statement himself!
As EVIL waits in the ring, his music fades out and “Fear No Evil” by def rebel begins to play, causing the crowd to erupt into cheers as Bron Breakker makes his way to the top of the ramp. With his face decked out in what looks like war paint, Breakker looks out at the crowd with an intense gaze and a whisper of a smirk across his face, clearly happy with their support. Letting out a couple of barks followed by a loud “WOO!”, Breaker looks down at EVIL waiting for him in the ring and begins making his way down the ramp.
SAMANTHA IRVIN: The following contest is scheduled for one fall! Already in the ring at this time, the Purple Barbarian, EEEVIIIL! And his opponent, making his way to the ring, Brooon Breaaakkerrr!
MICHAEL COLE: Bron Breakker is making his Monday Night RAW debut here tonight and what a big task he has ahead of him taking on EVIL!
WADE BARRETT: EVIL may be the brute strength for House of Torture, but Bron Breakker is a powerful man in his own right, I have a feeling this is going to be a hard hitting affair, Cole!
As he gets to the bottom of the ramp, Breakker pauses as he looks around at the crowd again before focusing his attention back on EVIL, who is pacing around in the ring. Walking over to the steel steps, Breakker slowly makes his way up to the apron and steps into the ring, walking to the center and raising his arms in the air and letting out a yell as he stares EVIL down. As his music fades out, Breakker lowers his arms and begins to roll his shoulders to warm up as he continues staring down his opponent.
SINGLES MATCH
The bell rings and before EVIL can even take a step forward, Breakker moves quick as a flash, nailing EVIL with a flying shoulder tackle! The move doesn’t knock EVIL down, however, and Breakker quickly turns around, nailing another one! EVIL stumbles after that second tackle, and Bron Breakker bends down, sticking his head between EVIL’s legs and lifting him up onto his shoulders before driving him down to the mat with a Georgia Slam!
MICHAEL COLE: Bron Breakker has come out of the gate hot here, Wade!
WADE BARRETT: EVIL doesn’t know what’s hit him!
Breakker gets to his feet and pulls the straps of his singlet down as he barks at the crowd who cheer and bark back at him. He looks at the downed EVIL and motions for him to get up, waiting for him to get to his feet. As EVIL begins to get up, Breakker crouches down, watching as EVIL starts to stand. As EVIL turns around, Breakker comes charging in, nailing his opponent with a spear! As the crowd roars in approval, Bron goes for the cover and hooks the leg, 1…2...3! Bron Breakker gets the win!

SAMANTHA IRVIN: Here is your winner, BROOON BREAAAKERRR!
MICHAEL COLE: What an impressive showing here tonight by Bron Breakker, Wade!
WADE BARRETT: He certainly has a dominance that you don’t see very often, Cole! We’ll definitely have to keep an eye on Bron Breakker!
”Fear No Evil” begins to play again and the crowd is going wild with cheers as Bron Breakker stands up and lets out a victory roar as the referee raises his hand in the air. After the referee lets go and begins to tend to EVIL, Breakker raises his other arm to have them both in the air before walking to the ropes and exiting the ring, hopping down to the floor. As he makes his way up the ramp, Bron slaps outstretched hands of fans in the front row, a big smile on his face as he soaks in the cheers from the crowd. Stopping at the top of the ramp, he turns and looks out at the crowd again, giving them another bark as they bark back at him, and he shoots them a grin before turning and heading to the back.
The cameras go to the backstage area where we see Triple H standing by in his office, ready to make an official statement. With an audible sigh, he runs a hand over his beard for a moment before addressing the WWE Universe.
TRIPLE H: Money in the Bank has been on all of our minds recently and as we build momentum forward, sometimes we have to accept setbacks. This week, we will not be seeing Adam Page take on Goldust to find out who amongst the two will qualify for the Money in the Bank ladder match. Unfortunate circumstances sometimes happen, however we willl continue our journey forward and next week in Seattle, we will all be able to find out who truly wants that spot when these men meet for the first time ever in a WWE ring.
Triple H now settles back a bit as he motions for a moment and checks his phone.
TRIPLE H: A bunch of people have questioned my actions, I’ve seen social media abuzz with mentions of Sami Zayn, some people thinking what I did was unfair. So, I want to make it abundantly clear, anything I choose to do in this company is final. Decisions that I make are not made lightly, I don’t make mistakes when it comes to my judgment. Sami Zayn was a growing liability, one that I couldn’t let jeopardize the future of WWE by making outrageous claims. As far as what his future entails, that’s something that you would have to ask the man himself. Plenty of you felt the need to ask me about it, but he’s no longer with this company and his future doesn’t concern me in any way, shape, or form. This the last I’ll be speaking on the subject, enjoy the rest of your evenings.
Triple H puts his phone to his ear and walks away as he handles what we can only assume is more company business as the cameras go back to ringside.
MICHAEL COLE: It’s unfortunate that Goldust versus Adam Page won’t be able to take place this week, but it gives us something to look forward to next week for sure! However, I do wish Triple H hadn’t been so harsh in regards to Sami Zayn. That man has nothing but love for this business and this company and he didn’t deserve what happened to him!
WADE BARRETT: Oh come on, Cole, are you serious? You heard what Triple H said, the man was becoming a liability! Letting him go was best for business!
MICHAEL COLE: We’ll have to disagree on that one, partner, but now it’s time to move on to our next match of the evening. While Goldust versus Adam Page is being delayed, Isla Dawn versus Velvet Sky in their women’s qualifying match is not being delayed, and we’re about to find out who is going to join Britt Baker and Dakota Kai at Money in the Bank!
“Angel on My Shoulder” by Dale Sullivan begins to play on the speakers and the crowd erupts into loud boos as Velvet Sky makes her way to the top of the ramp. Looking out at the crowd with her hands on her hips, Velvet Sky rolls her eyes before making her way down to the ring, her nose in the air as she ignores the booing fans. She gets to the bottom and she hops up onto the apron, seductively entering the ring underneath the top rope as she pauses to pose for the fans, causing the male population to pop with loud approval.
SAMANTHA IRVIN: The following contest is scheduled for one fall, and it is a Money in the Bank qualifying match! Introducing first, A Beautiful Person, Velllveeet Skyyy!
MICHAEL COLE: Velvet Sky lost her first match in WWE two weeks ago against another newcomer in Britt Baker, and you have to think she’s more than a little upset that things didn’t go her way!
WADE BARRETT: Of course she’s upset, she’s a veteran of this business and she got showed up by a rookie with beginner’s luck! Tonight is her chance to right the wrongs from a couple of weeks ago, earn herself a spot in the women’s Money in the Bank, and show everyone why she’s one of the greatest in this business!
Velvet finishes getting into the ring and she goes to the center, striking a pose before turning her attention to the entrance area as her music fades out. Suddenly, “The Depths” by def rebel begins to play and the crowd continues to boo as Isla Dawn makes her way out to the top of the ramp. Looking out at the crowd with a devious smile, Isla puts her arms out to her side, letting out an evil cackle as she makes her way down the ramp.
SAMANTHA IRVIN: And her opponent, making her way to the ring, The White Witch, Iiislaaa Daaawwwn!
MICHAEL COLE: This is actually Isla Dawn’s first singles match here tonight, Wade, and what a first singles match! You have to imagine she’s looking to get some momentum going for Unholy Union. We saw her earlier tonight try to get her hands on Shotzi Blackheart during a scuffle with her partner Alba Fyre but she was unsuccessful, so she’s likely to have a lot of pent up rage that she’ll be looking to take out on Velvet Sky!
WADE BARRETT: Well she’s just an all around weirdo, Cole, and I hope Velvet Sky makes quick work of her! She shouldn’t be forced to work in these kinds of conditions, it’s a hostile work environment!
As she reaches the bottom of the ramp, Isla lets out another evil cackle as she climbs up onto the apron and slides under the bottom rope. Looking at Velvet Sky with a devious smile, Isla effortlessly glides to her feet and as her music fades out, she walks closer to Velvet Sky who looks more than a little creeped out.
SINGLES MATCH
The bell rings and Isla Dawn gets right up to Velvet Sky’s face, still smiling maniacally. Velvet Sky wrinkles her nose and takes a step back, clearly not wanting to be that close to The White Witch. Isla’s face changes from a smile to a pout as she outstretches her arms, indicating that she wants a hug from Velvet Sky. Once again, Velvet Sky wrinkles her nose, this time more in confusion than in disgust, but then she shakes her head and nails Isla Dawn with a stomp to the midsection! As Isla Dawn doubles over in surprise, Velvet Sky then hits her with a double axe handle to the back that brings The White Witch down to one knee. Velvet Sky then gets in front of Isla Dawn, shoving her head under her arm and then driving it down into the mat with a DDT!
MICHAEL COLE: Velvet Sky showing some aggression early on here!
WADE BARRETT: She’s gonna want to stay on top of that, because if she lets up at all, Isla Dawn will strike and it won’t be pretty!
Velvet Sky seems to be keenly aware of this, as she goes for the cover and hooks the leg, 1…2…kick out by Isla Dawn! Velvet Sky looks slightly agitated but she gets to her feet and picks Isla Dawn up by her hair. She gets Isla to her feet and kicks her in the midsection again and turns around, grabbing Isla’s head and looking to hit her with the #1 Stunna, but Isla pushes Velvet Sky forward into the corner, escaping the move! Velvet Sky quickly turns around only to be met with a roundhouse kick from Isla Dawn that sends her down to the mat! Isla lets out another loud, evil cackle as she looks at the downed Velvet Sky and she shouts “you should’ve hugged me! We could have been friends!” before slapping her across the face. Isla then hits the ropes and when she comes back, she jumps up into the air and brings her elbow down across Velvet Sky’s chest with a devastating jumping elbow drop! Now it’s Isla who goes for the pin as she hooks Velvet Sky’s leg, 1…2…kick out by Velvet Sky!
MICHAEL COLE: The momentum has shifted in Isla Dawn’s favor, but this has been an evenly contested match so far!
WADE BARRETT: It certainly has, Cole, and I’ll be honest, I don’t want to cheer against Isla Dawn too loudly, she might try to cast a spell on me!
Isla doesn’t look upset that Velvet Sky kicked out, quite the opposite, in fact, she looks excited. Clapping her hands together, Isla gets to her feet and watches as Velvet starts to stir. As Velvet begins to get to her feet, Isla grabs her by the arm and gets her all the way up, before reaching through her legs and lifting her up in the air looking for a bodyslam, but Velvet Sky is able to slip down Isla’s back and land on her feet, keeping Isla’s head locked under her arm and driving Dawn’s head to the mat with a reverse DDT! Once again, Velvet goes for the pin, 1…2…THRNOO! Kick out by Isla Dawn!
MICHAEL COLE: That was a close call, I thought Velvet Sky had it there!
WADE BARRETT: I did too, Cole, in fact I had hoped that Velvet Sky had it! She deserves to be Miss Money in the Bank!
Velvet Sky screams in frustration as she looks at the ref and shrieks “three! It’s three, ref!” but the referee of course stands firm that it was only a two count. Velvet Sky shrieks in the referee’s face before turning her attention back to Isla Dawn. Reaching down and grabbing Isla by the hair, she starts to pull The White Witch to her feet, but Isla sweeps Velvet Sky’s legs out from under her, causing her to land hard on her back. Isla then grabs Velvet Sky’s legs and uses them for leverage to flip over her body, landing on her feet and bridging her own body as she pins Velvet Sky’s shoulders to the mat, 1…2...THRENOOO! Velvet Sky gets her shoulder up just in time!
MICHAEL COLE: I can’t believe how back and forth this match has been!
WADE BARRETT: I can’t either, Cole, I’m on the edge of my seat here!
Isla looks a little more upset this time around, but she gets to her feet and pulls Velvet Sky up with her and nails her with a forearm shot to the face. Velvet Sky shrieks in a panic, holding at her face and turning her back to Isla Dawn. This turns out to be a huge mistake on Velvet’s part, because Isla takes this opportunity to grab Velvet’s head and put it under her arm as she bends Sky backwards, and then jumps and spins in the air, driving The Beautiful One down to the mat with the Eye of the Hurricane! With Velvet Sky down and out, Isla Dawn quickly makes the cover and hooks the leg, 1…2…3! Isla Dawn is victorious!

ISLA DAWN
05:33 via PINFALL
SAMANTHA IRVIN: Here is your winner, The White Witch, IIISLAAA DAAAWWWN!
MICHAEL COLE: Isla Dawn has done it! She’s qualified for Money in the Bank!
WADE BARRETT: Well I hope Britt Baker and Dakota Kai are prepared, because the women’s Money in the Bank just got a whole lot spookier!
”The Depths” begins to play again and the crowd boos as Isla Dawn gets to her feet, cackling as the referee raises her hand in the air. Pulling her arm away from the ref, Isla looks down at Velvet Sky’s fallen body and continues cackling as she walks to the ropes and exits the ring, hopping down to the floor. Alba Fyre comes down to the ringside area, her eyes wide with excitement as she pulls Isla Dawn in for a hug. The two ladies of Unholy Union embrace one another, celebrating Isla’s big moment before clasping their hands together as they walk up the ramp, swinging their arms and cackling all the way. Stopping at the top, they turn to look at Velvet Sky who is in the ring throwing a fit at the referee, who is explaining to her that the decision is final. With a final evil cackle, the ladies turn and head to the back to celebrate Isla’s victory.
With the Monday Night RAW crowd showing just how much they're enjoying the action so far, the camera fades to the backstage area where Byron Saxton is seen with a smile on his face.
BYRON SAXTON: What a night of action we've already seen and coming off of last night's huge Heat show, things are only looking up. Speaking of last night's show, right now I'm standing with a man who made his debut last night and is looking to climb that ladder to the top. Ladies and gentlemen, Adam Cole.
ADAM COLE: You're right Byron last night I did make an impact, but let's be honest did I really make the impact somebody like me can make? Last night I think everybody knows I could have walked down that ramp and made an impact by taking out both of those losers who were in the ring, but I didn't. I decided to give them a choice and for their sake they both decided to choose the right one. The wrestling world knows exactly who I am and what I'm capable of doing and do you know why Byron? Because time and time again I've stepped into the ring with guys who are looked at as the best in the world and throughout my career I've proven each and every single one of them wrong. Everybody knows what I can do inside the squared circle because when you're as good as I am, people notice. When you can do the things that I can do inside a wrestling ring, it doesn't take long for your name to be talked about. What I find a little interesting about last night is the fact that I really didn't do much, but I left that arena being the only person people were talking about. I am without a shadow of a doubt " THE STAR OF THE SHOW " and last night was just a glimpse of it.
BYRON SAXTON: Well I'm sure a lot of superstars in the back saw what took place last night and now know you are part of the roster. With the caliber of superstar you are, do you think you're stepping into this company with a target on your back?
ADAM COLE: Byron it doesn't really matter whether I'm walking into this company with a target on my back or not because the fact of the matter is I've been a target my whole career. Ever since I stepped into a wrestling ring for the first time, I've had people targeting me and it's all because they let their jealousy take over them. They all saw what I could do in the ring, and they all realized they'd never be as good as I am and at that point, I became a target. Now that I'm here none of that is going to change because everybody in the back is going to realize none of them are even half as good as I am.
Cole pauses as Byron continues with the interview.
BYRON SAXTON: You've had a lot of rivalries over the years and some of the men you've competed with are signed here with you. Is there anybody you're looking forward to stepping into the ring with more than others?
ADAM COLE: See Byron, when you ask somebody a question like that most times my name would be the one people would be saying. Being able to step into the ring with somebody of my caliber is something a lot of guys only dream about. The only thing I'm looking forward to is having gold wrapped around my waist and being able to show the world exactly who I am.
BYRON SAXTON: You pretty much just answered my last question for you, but what are your plans now that you're signed?
ADAM COLE: It's pretty simple Byron, somebody like me doesn't walk through those doors because they're here to make friends. When somebody like Adam Cole walks through those doors they have one thing in mind and one thing only. To prove they are the best wrestlers in the world today and that's exactly what I plan on doing, one step at a time I'm going to climb my way to the top. When I get there, I'll be there for a very long time, because nobody does it like...
ADAM COLE BAY-BAY
With that said, Adam Cole glares into the camera with a grin on his face while the camera cuts back to the ring.
WADE BARRETT: Adam Cole seems to be a very confident man after making his debut on Heat just last night. I don’t blame him, because two men were literally competing in the ring and his presence was enough to send them packing with only a few words. He didn’t even have to lift a finger, Cole!.
MICHAEL COLE: Well he’s certainly not lacking confidence, but he’s talking about a roster full of superstars that claim to be the best. That step by step process on getting to the top that he’s talking about isn’t going to be easy. I’m not saying it can’t be done, but the rest of these male superstars aren’t going to leave the ring just because Adam Cole demands it.
WADE BARRETT: We’ll have to see what he’s got up his sleeves then, Cole! Because I don’t think he’s averse to the idea of doing whatever is necessary to make sure he’s seen as top dog sooner rather than later. Just like Nick Wayne in this upcoming contest is determined to prove he’s one of the best by earning his chance at Money in the Bank!
”Nick Wayne” by Photographic Memory begins to play over the speakers of the sound system as he practically skips his way out on stage with confidence. The crowd throws trash at him as The Patriarchy member dodges a few cups and plastic bottles thrown his way. Wayne throws a few rude gestures their way as he struts his way to one side of the stage and then the other egging them on.
SAMANTHA IRVIN: The following contest is scheduled for one fall, and it is a Money in the Bank qualifying match! Making his way to the ring first, he is a member of The Patriarchy, Niiick Waaayne!
MICHAEL COLE: Christian’s so-called son looks to pick up a major victory here tonight by qualifying for Money in the Bank.
WADE BARRETT: Nick Wayne is clearly the prodigal son, as Christian has allowed him this opportunity to prove himself!
MICHAEL COLE: He won’t be getting an easy night, Kizarny has been clawing to make a name for himself as well! Just a few weeks ago we saw him take down EVIL quite handily!
As Nick Wayne reaches the end of the ramp he loosens up a bit, shakes his arms out and then jumps up onto the apron as he poses for the fans raising his arm in the air to their disapproval. Just as it looks like he’s about to enter the ring, "Entry of the Gladiators” by Big Top begins to play as a manic-looking Kizarny runs out onto the stage.
The crowd screams loudly for the circus performer and professional wrestler as he breathes out a string of fire with the wand in his hand. The ooo’s and ahhh’s of amazement clearly disturb Wayne as he tells him to knock it off. Kizarny, however, pats some hands as he makes his way down to the ring and then breathes a string of fire towards Wayne as he attempts to come out of the ring again, stumbling back into the ring as he protects his face from the flames.
SAMANTHA IRVIN: And his opponent for the evening, The Sideshow Psycho, Kiiizaaarny!
WADE BARRETT: Sideshow Psycho is very appropriate for this man, he clearly just tried to set Nick Wayne on fire!
MICHAEL COLE: Never approach a carnival worker with a torch in his hands! That’s just common sense, Wade!
WADE BARRETT: Fair point, but Wayne should clearly get the victory as that was clearly worth a disqualification!
MICHAEL COLE: The match hasn’t even started yet, Wade. Nobody was harmed, it’s still a fair fight, maybe Wayne should just respect his opponents entry into the ring.
Kizarny slides into the ring as he discards the wand, crawling his way almost eerily towards Wayne as the referee tries to keep the two men separate.
SINGLES MATCH
Wayne immediately moves in for a collar and elbow tie-up attempt but Kizarny quickly takes advantage and gets him into a side headlock. Wayne tries to lead him back towards the ropes but Kizarny flips around behind him with a wrist lock and shoves him forward. Wayne quickly spins around and nails a hard kick to the side of Kizarny’s head before he whips him towards the ropes and nails a flying thrust kick and uses the momentum to do a backflip and land on his feet! Kizarny shakes off the impact of the kick and rushes forward to get hit with an arm drag that practically knocks him off his feet. Wayne tapping the side of his head cockily as he mentions his father taught him to scout his opponents well.
WADE BARRETT: That arm drag was perfection, better than any arm drag we’ve seen out of Kizarny!
MICHAEL COLE: Taking a page out of Kizarny’s usual playbook, and throwing it back in his face! I have to give credit where it’s due, Wayne clearly took the time to check out his opponents previous matches.
WADE BARRETT: Gotta stay a step ahead of the competition if you want that victory, Cole!
Kizarny rushes in again but Wayne sidesteps him and both men run to the ropes and bounce off either side, as they come back they both go for a dropkick and miss each other by centimeters. As they fall to the canvas they both roll forwards and kip up to their feet at the same time, spins by both men to turn their attention back to each other as they both smirk at the other. Both run in and clothesline each other to the canvas, landing hard as they wipe each other out at the same time!
MICHAEL COLE: Well that probably smarts!
WADE BARRETT: Both men have clearly gotten on to the same wavelength and it cost both of them!
Wayne rubs a hand over his throat as he gets to a knee, Kizarny favoring one shoulder as he lands a bit more awkwardly then his opponent as he gets to his own knee. Both men stare each other in the eyes as Wayne throws a forearm to the jaw, Kizarny rears back and returns one of his own. Both men take turns exchanging forearms on the knees, until Wayne lands a jaw-rocking uppercut and gets to his feet as he spins Kizarny. Wraps an arm around Kizarny’s neck from behind and lifts him up to drop him with a lifting inverted DDT as he hooks the legs when they kick up from the impact. 1…2…3! NO! Kizarny kicks out with power as he scrambles to get to his feet using the ropes for leverage to keep himself up!
MICHAEL COLE: Wayne clearly trying to take this one home quickly!
WADE BARRETT: He’s trying to impress his patriarch, Cole! Daddy Christian needs that briefcase in The Patriarchy’s hands!
Wayne isn’t slowing himself down though, he stays on top of Kizarny with a few shots to the kidney of his opponent! Kizarny tries to get away from him but Wayne grabs him with a gutwrench and flips him around before he drops him with a double knee gutbuster! Kizarny gets to his feet but Wayne quickly lifts him up onto his shoulders as he struggles slightly with a backbreaker rack before he drops him down off the shoulders and hits a double knee gutbuster on him again! Wayne now motions toward the corner as he runs up and jumps over for the Clout Cutter! Kizarny’s legs shoot up into the air after the impact and Wayne hooks him for the pin but grabs a handful of tights for good measure, 1...2…3! Wayne immediately shoots up to his feet and kicks Kizarny out of the ring unceremoniously before he demands the referee to raise his hand!
WINNER
NICK WAYNE
07:51 via PINFALL
SAMANTHA IRVIN: Here is your winner and Money in the Bank qualifier, Niiick Waaayne!
MICHAEL COLE: I think there were a handful of tights at the end there, Wade! Kizarny got screwed out of this one!
WADE BARRETT: What are you talking about, Cole? He nailed the Clout Cutter, he made the pin, Wayne clearly used the superior tactics of The Patriarchy and secured himself a solid victory here tonight!
MICHAEL COLE: If we could get a replay, I’m pretty sure he did cheat there!
WADE BARRETT: He did his father proud, Cole, don’t foul this precious moment from his fathers memory with your alternative opinion unless you’ve got proof!
The referee lifts the arm of Wayne for the victory as he grins before pulling his arm away quickly and yells at the fans that he’s going to Money in the Bank and he’s going to make his father proud. As he exits the ring Kizarny can be seen nursing the back of his neck as he’s checked on by ringside attendants. Wayne backs his way slowly up the ramp as he gloats some more by posing for the fans who boo him endlessly as the camera fades out to commercial.
Tune in next week to witness the fallout of Diesel and Swerve Strickland's final encounter!
