Well, well, well… It looks like hell has frozen over again.
When the WWE briefly closed down and changed ownership at the beginning of the year, many wrestlers feared for the worst, that under the new reign of Triple H and Stephanie McMahon, their services would no longer be needed.
Many fans of professional wrestling assumed that CM Punk would take this opportunity (a healthy severance package) to return to Chicago and retire for a second time with his loves AJ Lee and Larry.
Instead, Punk decided to once again prove the world wrong and take a couple of months away from wrestling and return to Chicago to pursue other endeavors.
Many have called CM Punk a mentor. A hero. A trailblazer. But if you ask CM Punk, he’ll just tell you that he’s THE BEST IN THE WORLD. And now… for the first time, you can be too.
In early 2024, Punk, who has always been a big believer in if you want to be the best, then you have to be trained by the best, decided to buy a building and partner up with his good friend Stevie Richards to open the Chicago Made Wrestling Academy (CMWA).
